working good for my application
I used them to go in the window sill and storm window to collect moisture

Really helped during storm.
I live in an older home, built in 1965, and we get water coming up from the foundation during heavy rain. We recently had a hurricane and I had four of these snakes that I put down in areas where water came in, and they totally absorbed all the water! Before I would use towels, and the water didn't really absorb and I'd have to go through lots of heavy towels (wringing them out, etc). These filled up but never overflowed! They are a little smaller than I had imagined, so in the future I would maybe get more of them. They have since dried out and went back to flat, so I have them stored for the next rain.

I don't know what I expected, but this ain't it
These things are very flat.........and yes, they do absorb, (I've thrown a few cups of water on them to test them out), but they are not as big as I needed. I expected them to swell up to 'link sausages'. I wish a lot more of the absorbing material had been poked into them. Disappointed. I've had to put all 4 of them near a tiny opening at the bottom of the big garage door so that they will catch the rain and snow when it blows in.

Dry Garage!
This item worked great for it's intended purpose. My AC unit had a terrible leak that was damaging items in my garage. Towels were used to absorb it until we could fix, but then we'd have no towels and extra laundry. This product absorbed where 10 towels were needed before. I'll set them aside and reuse if we have a surprise leak again.

Not sure it works
I’m not sure it’s working. It doesn’t seem to be absorbing anything. And my windows are dripping with water/moisture. It doesn’t seem to be expanding/absorbing. Disappointed.
