These cakes boxes are very sturdy and durable love them. Only thing I wish they were taller.

I was able to comfortably fit a four layered cake inside. I hope this is helpful for fellow consumers!

These boxes are not a full 10x10”. More like 9.75x9.75”. A 10” round cake board pushes the edges out a little.Also, the lids were not sent. Instead they sent double the amount of boxes. I had to turn one of the boxes upside down for a lid.

If you are using a 10” cake drum, look elsewhere. It will not fit precisely and your box will bow, because this box is actually 9 7/8” x just under 9 7/8”. When your box bows, the top will not slide on easily. I’m not sure how a square box couldn’t have been made square. The tabs/flaps are also not stellar. BUT, I gave it 2 stars for getting the 8” tall part right.

This set of boxes are very good even for cakes that are about 9.5" high. The lid goes on from the top, making it possible to raise the lid by attaching toothpicks or skewers on the sides to add height to the base box. That is a big plus for me! The cake in the pictures was 9" tall and stayed securely in the box.The base is easy to assemble as well as to open when removing the cake. The window on top is a plus to look at the contents, once inside.It is made of carstock, so when a cake is inside it, I would support it from the bottom to avoid any mishaps. This cake was abkut 3.5lb and stayed in fine.For the height and price, I would still recommend these boxes, even though they are made of cardstock. Just be sure to hold them from the bottom when carrying a cake in them.
