Made a lot more work for myself
I bought this camera to see if the squirrels chewed holes in my HVAC ductwork as I suspect they have. I haven't finished looking in all the vents yet, but I will say this camera does a good job for what it is designed for. Hope to finish checking vents soon. Then I made the mistake of sticking it in other holes around the house. Down the tub drains, down the sink drains, under the dishwasher, inside the dryer vents, etc. Don't do this. you don't need to know that there is a dead roly-poly bug under your dishwasher. Especially since the camera is going to make it seem a LOT bigger than what it actually is, and you're going to waste time thinking a dead baby armadillo is under your dishwasher, and waste even more time wondering how in the world that scenario could even happen. And the drains, oh the drains. You don't need to know the filthy and crud that is in your "clean" house. It's only clean on the surface. You live in a cesspool. Sticking it in the dryer vent will probably make you panic, convincing you that your house is going to catch on fire at any minute. You don't need this drama. We have enough drama in the world already, and ignorance is indeed, bliss. Just use it for the purpose you bought it for and nothing else. And no, it does not work well for a DIY colonoscopy either. The lube gets on the lens and there's just a big blurry mess. Plus you have to walk around with that "I've been violated" feeling for several hours afterwards and riding a bike is a no-go for a bit as well.

Easy Set up
Quite easy to set up. I used this looking between ceiling joists in my gargage. The light was ineffective in the larger space. I ended up taping a more powerful LED light and that helped see the bigger picture. The lens reacted well and I was able to do what I bought it for. Probably would work OK for pipes and tighter spots. I'm sure I'll have other uses for it.

Don't waste your time.
Upon receiving the item I was needing it for a repair on my truck. Following the directions I tried to get the software using the QR code but the link was bad. I found the name of the software in the directions and downloaded. When I plugged the camera into my tablet it didn't work so I tried on my phone but that didn't work neither. I had to find out why it wasn't working. After a short time I found out I needed to install software by others to make it work. Now that I had it working I found that the lights are too dim. I had to have the camera right in front of what I was looking at to see. I was trying to check a wire harness on top of a fuel tank and couldn't see where to go with the dim light. Once I slid a flashlight above the tank I was able to see. The camera I rate high but getting it to work bad software links and dim lights are not good. I would not recommend this product.
