I have use many types of these in home Christmas lighting projects. These ones are shorter in length than most, which has pros and cons. Pro is they take up less space and are less obtrusive and weigh less. Cons are there are no test ports on top to insert voltage probes, are very useful feature on other models. Another con is the length of wire inserted is shorter, may have less contact with the spring terminal but I haven't had a problem with wires pulling out. Lever action is a little stiff but ok for occasional use.

Great idea. Poor execution.I find it difficult to get stranded wires far enough in to be held securely. Perhaps the final channel part might be tapered to help with entry. You can't exactly force strands into the hole.I imagine these would be good for solid wire connections.

When you are trying to connect power lines in a small switch box, these work great for bringing in one power line (esp 12 gauge) and splitting it in two directions. Fits into tight space and organizes crowded wires.

Easy to use. Holds tight. I used them in a tight space were wire nuts would have been aa pain. They do take up more space then wire nuts.

Needed a way to distribute power and this device does a great job. We will be including these in our products.
