Permium paper at a bargain price.
All premium papers do a fine job of holding water, resist warping and pilling, and accept paint in any consistency, but Leyton blocks offer all of that and more at a very reasonable price per sheet. Leyton papers are heavy weight (350gsm) and are made of 100% cotton.

Great price, quality, durable!
I absolutely love this watercolor paper! I’ve used multiple brands and have tried several that were “cheap” and weren’t durable. But this is the exception! It’s a great price! Has great texture, comes as a block, withstands wet on wet and allows for scrubbing or lifting if needed! Aside from using Arches, hahnemuehle etc this is my go to paper. I haven’t found another paper that compares when it comes to quality and price. It has various size options, the thickness makes it sturdy and the color accuracy is spot on! I highly recommend!

Nice paper and seller
Nice cotton paper. I'm using it for cyanotypes and it produces a deep warm blue. As advertised, it doesn't warp, even after multiple water baths and soaking. One negative is that the pages are glued together at the edges and unnecessarily difficult to separate. There's only a tiny opening in the block where you can slide in a knife or opener. In frustration, after tearing and marring some sheets, I'd complained about this in an earlier review. To my surprise, the seller reached out with a refund. I appreciate that and will buy more from this seller.

Nice paper!
I’ve only been doing watercolor for 2 years, but I have tried a lot of different papers. Arches is my favorite, but it’s so darn spendy, so I’ve been trying a lot of other cheaper 100% cotton papers. This one is a really great option! Took a lot of water, I like the texture, the paint moved beautifully, and it held up well to multiple layers. Pleasantly surprised!

Excellent Quality
LOVE LOVE LOVE this paper. It can handle, with ease, a shocking amount of water.

Good paper. Worth the price I paid.
At first I wasn't sure if I liked the papers texture, but it grew on me a lot. This paper was also able to take artists tape without ripping the paper when pulled up.My one sticking point is that it was damaged in delivery because they placed it in a bag (noticeable in 3 out of 4 corners). If you order this I would order it when you have multiple purchases so they package it in a box.

Best watercolor paper you can buy
This Leyton watercolor paper is the best you will find for portrait painting or any subject. I paint portraits and have worked with Arches, Baohong, Strathmore 500 both hot and cold press papers. Nothing compares to the quality of Leyton for lifting color, scrubbing, layering, heavy weight, takes a lot of water, even sizing and beautiful texture. I have spent a lot on trying other papers that come highly recommend, never being fully satisfied with the results. Baohong grabs the color and it won't move also requires a lot of water to work with, not what I want or need for portraits. Arches is difficult to work with and tends to grab color as well. Strathmore 500 does not scrub without pilling up. You will be pleased with Leyton paper and I will never use anything else. It does not warp. I've used it for 4 months, have ordered multiple blocks and sizes. I just wish the sold it in rolls or in full 8x10 instead of 10.6x7.7". Is averages about 40-60 cents less per sheet compared to Arches. I do commissioned work and freelance as well, I only use Daniel Smith watercolors as well.
