GIBRALTAR QUALITY !
REPLACEMENT FOR A SNARE DRUM BUTT END AS THIS ONE HAS SQUARE ENDED SCREWS, MAKING IT EASIER TO ADJUST / USE IN THE FUTURE WITHOUT THE NEED OF A SCREWDRIVER ( USE A DRUM KEY INSTEAD, MUCH EASIER )

Nice, quick and simple
Nice, basic butt...enough of a footprint to be stable under tension, but small and light enough not to noticeably affect resonance. Fits into bags/cases easily. Drum key bolts make tightening and loosening quick and simple.

if you have the measurements and this fits I would recommend getting it
Exactly what I was looking for, if you have the measurements and this fits I would recommend getting it. Cheap and works fine.

My snare is whole again
After ordering a butt end that was too small to fit my snare, I found this beauty from Gibraltar, and I couldn't be happier. My 10-year-old Tama kit is finally starting to wear out in certain aspects, the butt end being one of them. The screws became unuseable. Rather than new screws, I decided to go for a new butt altogether. Man does this baby fit like a glove if the holes on yur snare are 2-1/4" apart. I am once again confident that the snare will stay together and not explode because it got loose. I also like that instead of using screws like on the stock end I had, Gibraltar uses tension rods, which simplifies things because you can just use your key to tighten everything without having to swap out tools. Sometimes it's the little things in life you appreciate, and this butt end from Gibraltar is certainly a life saver.
