I like this is cheap for music beginners but I wish the back was sturdy. I use it on another book or pad for support. You cannot hold it to write it. You get what you pay for but this will do the job.

I have been learning to play the piano for a little over a year now and recently ordered a different music sheet notebook which I found okay, but it was just okay. I saw this music notebook and it is so much nicer! It has a solid and playful cover, a nice spiral bound, and the note sheets are perfect for a beginner to start adding notes. Each page is double sided and has 10 staves per page. The pages are an off-white color, smooth, and easy to write on. They are thick enough that a regular pen doesn't bleed through to the pages underneath. The pages are also easy to turn, which is important when you want to turn them while playing.The notebook lays completely flat, which makes it super easy to write in. The only thing I would have liked, was if the pages were perforated. You can still tear out the sheets if you want, but you just need to trim the edge for a clean page. Overall, this is a great music notebook that is a great size and easy to use. I would definitely recommend it. Plus, you can't beat the low price. FIVE STARS!!

I always found it tedious to have to draw the staff everytime I wanted to write a sheet of piano music, so this notebook was perfect for simplifying one step of the music writing process for me. It comes with a reasonable amount of sheets, and thinly layed-down lines. You will need to have a sharp pencil to be precise, but that was no issue for me. Definitely worth the try.
