Brilliant exploring maps from Ordnance Survey
It seems a bit odd to write a review for an OS map, most people know how invaluable they are and what they look like. However I erroneously bought an OS Touring map of Cornwall for a recent trip to Cornwall. It wasn't much use as it is very similar to the AA road atlas that is available everywhere for £1.99. But this Explorer series map is totally different. The detail is exceptional and the map is invaluable for exploring the area. That's probably why they call it an Explorer Map....ahem. The area of your choice is shown in 1:25 000 that means that 4 cm on the map is equivalent of 1 km. It's the perfect map for finding that footpath out of the campsite, following a coastal trail etc etc. If you're ever thinking of walking/cycling in an area of Britain this is the map to go for. They also make for interesting armchair reading!!

How about sealing the package Amazon??!!
Nothing wrong with the Ordnance Survey but Amazon failed to seal the package of 3 mapsThey must have fallen out and had been crudely stuffed back in and the package was still not sealed.Trying to save money on packaging?????

A map!
Does everything it says on the tin although it's single sided! I could have sworn all OS maps were double sided at one point! I think I prefer it though as it's simpler to find anything you're looking for on a single sided map

OS MAP
Even though we have Google maps, I would still take an os map on a walk. These days they come with digital downloads which is very useful and essential when you're miles away from a road.

Great Map
A great OS map - perfect for planning walking/cycling holidays. Each map has a QR code inside the map which I am told can be downloaded - I haven't used that function yet but I think some of the other reviewers have and are pleased with the results. I would recommend these maps.

Recommended for adventurers
Up to the usual high standard of OS maps, many may prefer the hand held sat-nav maps, but I have always preferred the large scale 'analogue' versions of maps, they are tangable, something that doesn't have a battery run out on it. Recommended for adventurers, young and old alike.

Top of the range stuff.
Lives up to OS criteria. Not used it yet but I've had a good look over 'em and they're as clear as I remember from before.
