Perfect replacement part!
The W10613606 Refrigerator Compressor Start Relay and Capacitor was exactly what our Maytag frige needed to get it going again. Saved hundereds of dollar by replacing this part myself.

Easy to swap internals with similar combination relays
PTC Thermistor disc value is 5.3 ohms cold, 16mm dia. Capacitor is 15uF / 250VACMost fridge thermistors are in the range of 3-6 ohms cold. Its purpose is to provide a current surge to energize the start winding. Almost instantly, it heats up to present a high resistance, and in effect removes itself from the circuit, after which the capacitor takes over to improve power factor and efficiency.The thermistor in my fridge failed, but a replacement part of the exact style is much more expensive than this one. This part has the same case size as my original relay, but the blade pins are of different size, so the wiring spade lugs did not fit. My solution was to pry open the case with spreader pliers and cannibalize the part for its thermistor to replace the shattered one in the original case. Overload protectors are more critical and cannot be blindly swapped out. I kept the original overload protector piece, which maintained the correct match for the compressor.

The number on the picture online did not match what was sent.
We installed the part and it started smoking and smelling like burnt wires within 5 minutes.

Universal relay works perfect
This relay is compatible for all refrigerators that have the same electrical plug it is less expensive and more expensive relays are recommended but I've been using these for 10 years they're made in the same areas and it still works perfect as long as it clips right in with the existing harness which 90 plus refrigerators have

Fixed our fridge
Compressor wouldn’t click on. Determined this part had failed. Replaced, fridge works again. With a little know how you can save a lot of money over calling in an appliance repair person or purchasing a new appliance!
