Industry Standard
Polyfilla is the industry standard tool for fixing minor perfections in walls and ceilings. Not much else I can say I'm afraid, it does do exactly what you're expect!

Its poly filler. It fills!
Its a little looser than polyfilla I've used in the past, but that might be on me for not getting the exact same stuff. It sunk into the holes just a little more than I would have liked. It does, just about do the job though.

Fills in cracks and gaps
Goes the job! Bought to fill in some structural holes and gaps near the bottom of a radiator and skirting board, seems to have done the job!

One hit fill
Use a decent springy tool and can get perfect fill so no sanding off.

Worked well.
Easy to apply, fast drying. Smoothed down well for repainting.

Not what I was expecting, and did not work as well as I had hoped.
The product arrived, and I thought the tube was empty. That's how light it is.When it came to using it, it's a bit like filling holes with shaving foam. It wants to stick to everything but the intended surface. It dries very much like plastic. Which with my rough plastered walls was an issue. Maybe better for holes in modern cardboard and plasterboard houses! But even then, I suspect the finish with be too smooth. When painting, the paint on the filler dries very differently to the rest of the surface. In my case it left a cracked texture in the paint. I had left it 24 hours before painting. But maybe it needed longer. In general, I prefer the old school filler, but I am sure this has a use case.

Dries quickly
Husband very impressed. It is very light, almost like a mousse, easy to apply, fills large holes and dries very quickly. It did shrink a tiny bit (although it was a deep hole) so probably best to leave it slightly raised on larger holes but it sands flat very easily - much easier to sand than normal polyfilla. Would definitely buy again.

Consistency of whipped cream.
As light as a feather with the consistency of whipped cream. When I first received the tube I was concerned that all I received was air and considered weighing the tube to see. However the tube was full. Ideal for making a neat edge around light sockets etc. Good professional Smooth finish and good colour match with 'brilliant white' matt paint. Very easy to use and I just use a dry finger to make a neat finish. Easy to clean of hands and a solid white colour. No need to paint in my case. Ideal for Small jobs around the home although filling small holes or cracked may be more different due to whipped nature of the filler. For cracks and larger holes, larger areas I would probably use the traditional filler.
