All my vitamins are from this brand and I have at least 10 different ones I take every day. A friend recommend to me to take EPO to help stop with breakout. I was pleasantly surprised after a few days my skin cleared up amazing. I did get one or two pimples since then but nothing compared to had I had. I've been taking 500 a day maybe it's time to up the dosage to 2 pills for 1000. Either way so worth it. My favorite brand.. and an amazing vitamin. Literally this is honestly the only brand I use now. I've tried so many other products from different brands and nothing seems to work. With this brand I always get amazing results and I keep coming back for me. Thank you. Please don't even change your ingredients in your products and keep up the high quality because this is what makes the extra money spending on vitamins worth it

Pure Encapsulations is an excellent, high quality brand with very high standards in their manufacturing. They are the only supplement company I will buy from. I'm 38 years old and never had acne until my 30's. I take 2 EPO capsules (1000 mg) daily and it's clearing my acne up like a charm! My skin is becoming clearer, softer and more supple and I've only been taking it for 2 weeks. I also tend to have severe PMS symptoms and breast tenderness and my symptoms were far lessened this cycle. Just be sure to start at a lower dosage and build up your tolerance from there as EPO can cause stomach upset and headaches if you're not used to it.

Fine product, but it advertised 500mg of Evening Primrose Oil and I mistook it for 500mg of GLA. So I had to take several pills each day and was happy to purchase a different product with a higher potency when I ran out. I like this brand though!

I have Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, which greatly effects my skin. I’m fair with yellow and pink undertones (the pink may just be the MCAS, come to think of it). Our family doctor recommended this initially for one of my kids who has PMDD and incredibly painful periods, but she decided to stop taking it after a few months (simply because she hates having to take anything). I had about 3 bottles of it (I forgot cancel it on Subscribe & Save), and decided to look into the benefits of EPO. I’m post-menopausal (ovarian failure after a hysterectomy), so I was skeptical. But after about 2 months on doctor-recommended 2,000 mg, I see several benefits.- My eczema is so much better!- Minor acne that snuck past retinoids ceased.- My skin’s moisture retention is decidedly improved.- My MCAS-triggered overheating (hot flash-like responses) have minimized.- Neuropathy issues are reducing.- And it seems to be helping to reduce inflammation brought on by MCAS as well.To be clear, I started with 500 mg for about a month, then moved up to 1,000 mg the following month. After seeing minor improvement, I asked my doctor what she’d recommend as I was seeing some positive changes in the above-listed areas. And knowing that I’m hyper-sensitive to numerous supplements and pharmaceuticals, she recommended I try 2,000 mg and see where that lands me.It’s been about a month at 2,000 mg, and I’m so hopeful my body continues to tolerate it well. As far as I can tell, I’ve had zero side effects and enjoyed several apparent benefits. I’ve tried a few different brands of EPO, and this one is my favorite. I never swallow these types pills, I just pop them in my mouth. This is the first one I’ve used that hasn’t tasted awful. I think the other brands I tried were borderline rancid.I get very bad breast tenderness the second half of the month if I don’t take a fairly high dose of a GLA. As long as I take EPO, or borage oil, I don’t have this issue. It can’t be good for breast health to have so much inflammation for two weeks out of every month for years on end. I have breast cancer in my family so see taking this as a preventative. I think it also helps my skin and keep hormonal acne at bay. I take two pills the first half of the month (one am and one pm), and then increase my dose to 3 or 4 the second half.

These Prime Rose Oil Tablets are good to maintain my health as dietary supplement.
