Donna Ashworth has a way with words that hugs you tight, right when you need it. Donna says the words in the most eloquent way that let you know your not alone, other people are going through similar, her words give you that nod that it’s ok. I read Donna Ashworth book when I need that ‘hug’ when I need that boost that gentle way with words. There is a poem for every emotion, event, feeling. These book are stunning presents too whether it be after a loss, a friend, a thank you a happy birthday. A thoughtful way to show you care and give your own ‘hug’.

Donna's poems are wonderful, very inspiring and comforting

I came across Donna Ashworth online and her one post, 'Crashed', had me searching out this book.Each time I read a poem and decide that is my favourite I turn the page and find another beautifully written, eloquent piece that resonates, comforts, and that makes you stop and reflect. Donna's writing conveys so beautifully what it is to be human. I haven't yet read the whole book but there isn't a poem in here that I don't love. Will be ordering more copies for friends. Buy this book - you wont be disappointed.

Really enjoyed despite the fact I would probably label myself as a non lover of poetry etc, I actually found some within this book that loved, adored in fact. Recommend reading this book whether you are a lover of poetry or not. A great introduction to poetry, a great taster selection of different types of poetry too.Some are what I would describe as paragraphs of advice more than what I myself would have catergorised as poetry but I enjoyed some of those just as much as some of the more tradition style that I expect of poetry.Very thoughtful, thought provoking, some wistful, other straight to the point and more plain speaking I think theres something for everyone in this book.

Basic good advice for a number of problems.Also encouragement for many readers.

I love Donna Ashworth’s poetry. Wild Hope got me hooked, and this was wonderful too. These poems are encouraging and hope-filled. They make my days better!
