Tasting it by itself is totally different. It's better when combined with a dish and other flavors are added in and mixing it with rice definitely helps.

I like teriyaki sauce on my salmon and on my fried tofu. This sauce was good on both proteins. I added extra sauce when I was cooking both the salmon and teriyaki. It thickened nicely. I would not use this direct from the bottle to my food. I would get this again.

This teriyaki sauce is one of the best I tasted. It's non gmo, calorie wise not too dense. Sugar content and sodium is also relatively low. In terms of taste, it's got a tangy and sweet taste. Tastes delicious with fried rice or anything fried.

Shirakiku Japanese Teriyaki Sauce is amazing on chicken wings. I don't always want buffalo wings so this sauce is a nice change from that. The marinated wings were sweet and zingy with a beautiful glazed skin. This sauce is thick and bold so the flavor doesn't disappear in whatever you cook it in. Glad to see it's non-gmo and the squeeze bottle makes using this sauce easy and convenient. Delicious sauce I recommend for all your Asian style dishes that call for teriyaki sauce.

This is a review for Shirakiku Japanese Teriyaki Sauce | 𝐒𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭 & 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐲 Non-GMO Barbecue Sauce for Stir Fry, Tofu, and Fish | Perfect for Authentic Asian Cuisine, Squeezable bottle - 18 OZ (Pack of 1)This doesn’t taste like the Asian restaurant’s chicken teriyaki sauce, it has a tangy taste to it. I used some to marinade the chicken. Afterwards, I mixed some with mirin to sweeten it up (or try to get the tanginess out) and then added cornstarch to thicken it to become like a glaze. This was poured over the chicken and it tasted good enough.

Great typical sweet and slightly tangy and savory flavors in more of a marinade type form straight from the bottle. It does cook down to a thicker more sauce-like texture, but it is on the runny side directly from the bottle. It tastes a lot like the teriyaki sauce from a particular restaurant with a little black and white mascot, if you get my drift. My family really enjoyed the flavor and preferred it cooked up to more of a thick and saucy consistency.

This teriyaki sauce is great on sushi, chicken, and fried rice. The squeeze bottle is nice. The sauce is very thick. Slightly tangy and sweet at the same time. I'm very happy with it.
