I wanted it to be right and it is.
This system is exactly what I hoped it would be. The Bose AI really helps pulls the dialogue out of the audio and bring it to prominence. We were having to watch most movies these days with close captions on, but this cured the problem.The surround sound is mostly subtle and atmospheric, then surprisingly effective when appropriate. (A crash, explosion or perhaps the sounds of a train rolling by in the background are suddenly real.)Setup is easy although, I did have a little hiccup; I called customer service and they were great. It literally came down to unplugging and plugging it back in for everything to connect. Frankly, I should have tried that before calling. But they were happy to help. It’s run perfectly since.

Not worth the money
My LG $150 system is better than this system. I came with missing parts so I had to buy them because the service was terrible at dealing with it. I would have returned it but apparently it can’t be returned. $1200 down the design. Base makes popping noise and losses connection at only 5 feet from Sound bar.

Terrible Product, Worse Customer Service
The Bose product that arrived was NOT new. It had been returned/refurbished - which was not advertised. Predictably, the bass speaker immediately started cracking while watching TV. Tried to make a Bose warranty claim and Bose told me the warranty had expired! This is a scam and they soaked me for $125 in a “restocking fee”. Terrible seller and I’m sorry for the next person they try to sell this unit to.
