A Trusted Product from a Trusted Company 👏🩸
I needed a new device to test my glucose level daily. I read the reviews for the different brands and decided to purchase the Care Living Kit. It arrived as promised. I read the pamphlet with its easy-to-follow instructions. The meter setup is easy, and the 100 strips and lancets are enough to last until the end of the year. I performed my first test, and the accurate reading met my positive satisfaction. No coding is required. Just test and go!!! I am confident that the kit will serve its intended purpose until it becomes necessary for me to refill my supply of strips and lancets. The pouch holds everything neatly. The only other item I add to my kit if desired, is alcohol wipes for cleaning the test site. I highly recommend the Care Living Blood Glucose Kit to assist with your health necessities thoroughly and satisfactorily.

lancet pen gun doesn't spring forward enough to poke finger for blood,(even on highest setting)
The lancet pen gun doesn't poke far enough to draw blood. I tried all settings, and it still didn't poke far enough to make contact. I ended up having to manually poke my finger for a reading. Also, coding and setting up was a nuisance and it wasn't registering correctly but it did give me a reading normal to what I have had in past I want to return it for a different kit/kind, but I was told to send it back even though it has been around and exposed to blood samples. I feel this is unsanitary, but I will keep it because of the test strips that I can still use.

Easy to use, but this is how to get the lancet to work.
Nice packaging, monitor seems to work well regarding ease of use. No clue about accuracy at this point. The lancing device, however, is sketchy. It's possible, with minimal effort, to push the lancet too far into the device so the needle doesn't make it out of the hole when it's released. I thought the needle was too short, but when I measured it on a ruler, it's almost as long as it's possible to purchase, at least 2.0 mm, so that's when I started looking for a different problem. In order to get it to work, you have to put the lancet into the device just barely enough for it to hold. Test it by inserting the lancet, gently holding it and pushing the release, and then hold the lid up to it level with where it will be when it's screwed on and make sure the needle is projecting above where the hole is. That's how much needle will come into contact (and hopefully pierce) the skin.

Very easy to use and affordable. Just hoping the results of the readings are accurate.
I tested the glucose before and after breakfast, I hope the results are accurate.

Works every time
Put some pressure on your test strip pushing downward into the monitor to auto turn on. Hold that pressure a couple secs. At first I had a learning curve but it’s very simple and fast to use now. The lancet device also has a learning curve if you’ve never used one before, and I had not. You will need dexterity to use the needles and to uncap them, so if you need this and struggle with finger strength or holding your hand still, get another lancet alternative. Quality is great land results are accurate. I’ve noticed that the most accurate results are achieved when using the recommended method of testing the second drop of blood, not the first. Make sure it’s adequate to fill the test capillary, because if it isn’t you will get wonky results. If you lance and can’t milk enough blood out, just start over. It’s better to do that than get inaccurate results. The case it comes with is a little small for everything it hold. I had to remove one pack of lancet refills and one tube of test strips to make it a better fit. You can replace the items when you run out of the first batch, just put them somewhere safe with other medical items. I’d buy this again for sure.

Unit uses mmol/L not mg/L
I gave fewer stars for one reason . The meter reads in mmol/L instead of mg/L , even though the instructions in the booklet advise that the meter will show mg/L. So I am left learning to convert readings to what I am accustomed to. There is no way to change the unit to mg/L. Other than that, it’s a nice unit and worth the $.
