While they work, these are great. However, they take 4 AAA batteries and seem to drain through these like nobody's business. Once they've drained the batteries to a certain point, the light has a tendency to stay on but in a dimmed state, which drains the batteries even more.I bought 6 of these for various points around the house (we have little kids who can't reach light switches, and long dark hallways).Good points:They are very bright, and light up a good area.They can be mounted pretty much anywhere - we leave some on the floor by the skirting board, and have mounted others above doors.They detect motion pretty wellThey come on for about 15 seconds and then switch off, which is idealThey are portableIn principle - they are excellent, and just what we wanted.Bad Points:The battery connection can be pretty flaky - it can take a bit of fiddling to get the light to work (and stay working) once you fit the batteries.They need quite a lot of batteries, with no recharge option (unless you use separate rechargeable batteries)They drain the batteries pretty quicklyUPDATE:Company read my initial review on Amazon and responded (unprompted) with a full refund for both my orders. So, 4 stars for the product, but 5 stars for excellent and responsive customer service! They were of the opinion that the bad points listed above are not reflective of the product generally, but they think that I was sent a bad batch - given that some of the lights seem to work consistently well, whilst others have the problem above, this may well be the case. Anyway, I applaud them for their keenness to put things right, and will probably order more in the future confident that the seller is responsive.

Rapid delivery, great after care and communication. These LED lights are very well made, very bright and easy to place under kitchen cabinets. Attachment is easy, just use the adhesive backing. There is no "on and off" switch on the unit: the LED light only comes on when it's dark and are activated by movement. One of the three LED lights was not working properly, mysterious intermittently on & off behaviour in the dark, and the seller offered a part refund which I think is fair. The other two are fine, so it could be just a random (unlucky) manufacturing fault which can happen with any product, and I will update my review after a few months. I was impressed by the rapid delivery and after care, including the courteous communications from the seller.Update 18/10/19. The two LED lights are still working well. I use rechargeable batteries. If the LED light is dimmer and stays on constantly, it means the batteries need to be recharged or replaced. Obviously the batteries will drain more rapidly if the LED lights are used in "heavy traffic" areas.

Nice and bright, but the batteries don't last long

These lights are fantastic. The build quality is very good and the materials are really high quality. The units feel solid and a magnetic mounting system is so very convenient but also saves me having to put holes into cupboards for screws. I've installed them into a 3 door Sharpe's fitted wardrobe; each door being 1 meter wide and 2.4 meters tall. They are installed at the 2m point, at the front and under a solid shelf. They perform as expected by coming on when the door is opened. I was initially worried about not having an on/off button but the light stays on for the duration of your search, whether that is 10 seconds or 3 minutes and so I don't believe an additional override switch is required; prevents forgetting to switch off and draining batteries. What I'm amazed with is the amount of light that is given by these units. With the bedroom in total darkness, I can even see the contents of any one of the three drawers. Having only used for them for 1 day, I will be very interested to see how long they last between battery changes; I'm using Duracell and so paid quite a bit on top of the initial purchase price. I'm so impressed that I'm going t buy another set, after I've seen how long the batteries last.Amir UK - well done and thank you for providing a quality product at a very reasonable price.

Brilliant lights. They fix easily, work reliably and provide a huge amount of light with only minimal battery consumption. Unlike some sensor lights, these work as you hope they will - they don't come on when it's already light and react quickly when you want them to in the dark. I have one attached to the ceiling above a chest freezer in my shed. It's adjacent to a window but I can move around outside without setting it off so cats and other animals won't activate it. When I open the door nothing happens but, as soon as I set foot inside the shed, the light comes on. I bought this 3 pack thinking that I'd need at least two but that's not the case - one is bright enough.

UPDATE: These now do not work at all, have changed batteries etc. but completely dead. They are also not sticky any more so fall down from my wardrobe - would not recommend as do not last the test of time!These only had one review at the time of me buying them, so thought I'd contribute. I don't usually write reviews but these are well worth the price and are cracking quality - only one day in so can't comment on how long they will last and battery life but they look excellent fitted in my wardrobe and come on as soon as I open the doors! The magnetic feature is a great addition, I'd really recommend these. Only health warning would be that batteries aren't included so you'll need 12 AAA batteries - setting you back another £5-10 on top of the purchase price.

Bought three of these and they are ok but they do not always work. I have to open up the battery slot and close it again for then to start working. This is a regular thing too, not just once or twice. The brightness is top quality and they are a good purchase but I wouldn’t advice getting any until this fault has been sorted. Maybe it’s just a batch that has this fault but it is very annoying having to do this constantly. I wouldn’t buy any more of them.

Der Bewegungsmelder reagiert sehr schnell wir benutzen sie für unsere Treppe für den vorratsraum und für die Diele hätten wir schon ein paar Jahre früher machen sollen sie werden mit vier dreimal a Batterien betrieben die Befestigung auch am Marmor ohne Probleme sie sind einfach abzunehmen da ein magnetstreifen vorhanden wir haben uns bewusst für austauschbare Batterien entschieden es gibt sie ja auch mit Akkus fest eingebaut die gehen jedoch nach einer gewissen Zeit kaputt dann ist die Lampe auch was für die Mülltonne wir würden diese Beleuchtung immer wieder kaufen auch die Verarbeitung macht einen sehr wertigen Eindruck

Vous allez recevoir l'ensemble dans une petite boite cartonnée à l'effigie de la marque AMIR.La lampe fonctionne grâce à 4 piles AAA qui ne sont hélas pas fourni avec lesquelles elle émet une lumière assez forte.L'installation est facile, il suffit de retirer la protection en papier de l'adhésif et de les placer où vous le souhaitez.Une fois cela fait, vous pouvez facilement décrocher le corps de la lampe et insérer les piles.Je vous recommande fortement cependant de faire des simulations afin de vérifier où le positionnement est le plus efficace avant d'enlever la protection adhésive.L'autocollant est très puissant et il ne sera pas facile de l'enlever pour changer de position une fois la lampe fixée, donc faites attention.Je les ai installés pour ma part à l'intérieur de ma penderie et ça fonctionne du tonnerre !Les lampes s'éteignent automatiquement une fois la porte fermée après quelques secondes, assurant une durée de vie plus importante des pilles.Un must pour éclairer les zones zombres d'une pièce, d'un meuble d'autant plus que ces lampes embarques un détecteur de mouvement ;-).

Ich habe mir die Amir LED Lampen mit Bewegungsmelder als Ersatz für schon etwas in die Tage gekommende, nicht so lichtintensive und auch mehr Batteriestrom verbrauchende Bewegungsmelder LED Lampen eines Discounters gekauf.Sowohl Farbe warmweiß als auch kaltweiß habe ich im 3er Pack erworben.Ich habe diese Amir LED Lampen als Kurzzeitbeleuchtung im Flur, im Badezimmer und in der Hauswirtschaftskammer installiert.Ziel war es, bei kurzzeitigem Betreten der Räume eine Beleuchtung zu haben und dafür nicht andauernd den Lichtschalter bedienen zu müssen.Im Flur kommt dazu, daß man mit Einkaufsbeuteln beladen sofort nach dem öffnen der Tür eine Beleuchtung hat und nicht erst den Lichtschalter aktivieren muss.Die Amir LED Lampen zeichnen sich zu allererst durch ihre schmale und schlanke Bauweise ( 188 mm x 30 mm x 15 mm bzw. 26 mm ) aus, meine alten Lampen waren doppelt so breit und auch dicker.In den Amir LED Lampen sind jeweils 10 LEDs verbaut, der kleine Bewegungssensor ist mittig platziert.Für den Betrieb benötigen die LED Lampen jeweils 4 AAA Batterien oder Akkus, diese sind nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten.Ich habe die Amir LED Lampen nun seit 50 Tagen in Benutzung, in Bad und Hauswirtschaftsraum musste ich die Batterien noch nicht wechseln, im vielbetretenen Flur jeweils einmal. Dort habe ich nach anfänglichem Batteriegebrauch nun Akkus eingesetzt, ist eine Frage der Wirtschaftlichkeit und weniger Entsorgungsmüll.Die Befestigung der Amir LED Lampen ist für mich super praktisch, ein Magnetstreifen, einseitig mit Klebeband versehen, wird an die Decke oder einem ähnlich erhöhten Ort angeklebt, die eigentliche Lampe hält dann an dem Magnetstreifen. Der Klebestreifen hält auf glatten Oberflächen sehr gut, auf glatter Tapete auch, auf Strukturtapete eher schlecht, hier wirkt das Gewicht der Batterien mit bei einer sonst mit 66 g Leergewicht sehr leichten LED Lampe.Zum Batteriewechsel muss dann nur die LED Lampe abgezogen und dann wieder aufgesetzt werden. Das stellt zu meinen alten Lampen eine deutliche Verbesserung mit weniger Fummelei dar.Als sehr gut für meine Zwecke bezeichne ich die Lichtausbeute, die kaltweißen LED Lampen erscheinen heller als die warmweißen LED Lampen. Bei mir war das auch so gewollt, im Flur wollte ich kein blendendes Licht, in Bad und Hauswirtschaftsraum sollte es schon heller sein.Der große Vorteil der AMIR LED Lampen besteht meines Erachtens nach nicht nur im Vorhandensein eines Bewegungsmelders sondern einem scheinbar verbauten Lichtsensor. Bei ausreichender Helligkeit im Flur oder bei eingeschalteter Hauptbeleuchtung gehen die AMIR LED Lampen nicht an.Bei mir reagieren die im Flur installierten AMIR LED Lampen etwa ab einer Entfernung von 4 Metern und schalten sich nach 14 bis 20 Sekunden wieder aus. Das ist genau die richtige Einstellung für meine Zwecke, es soll ja nur eine Kurzzeitbeleuchtung sein.Zusammenfassend kann ich sagen, daß ich den Kauf nicht bereue, die AMIR LED Lampen erfüllen ihren Zweck hervorragend, der Stromverbrauch ist besser als bei meinen alten LED Lampen, selbst im vieldurchlaufenden Flur halten die Batterien bzw. Akkus um die 30 bis 40 Tage durch, in Bad und Hauswirtschaftsraum mittlerweile 50 Tage.Der Preis für ein Dreierpack ist zudem äußerst attraktiv und liegt so zwischen 15 und 20 Euro, eine meiner alten Lampen kostete damals allein 10 Euro bei geringerer Lichtausbeute und höherem Stromverbrauch.Ich bin vollstens zufrieden und kann diese AMIR LED Lampen nur weiterempfehlen.

Total Klasse die Lichter...Ich wollte die für Treppe im der Wohnung haben weil ich Licht möchte wenn ich nachts zum Bad muss.Aber das grosse Licht blendet mir im Halbschlaf zu heftig....Das ist echt ne super Lösung wie man auf dem Bild sieht...hell aber blendet nicht.Versand super schnell und sehen gut aus...Jetzt habe ich in fast jeden Zimmer eine wo man nur mal kurz Licht brauch...Bin absolut begeistert davon
