Q: Hi I brought this product recently. I screwed the spray compartment onto the bottle however it doesn't spray no matter how many times I press it?

Opening the bottle was difficult, but spraying was not. If you try 10-20 times, you will usually spray properly. If this doesn't work, you spray cap may be broken.

Q: how do you know how good this product is as you cant see dust mites without a lot of magnification? Not needed for bed bugs, but must have dust mites

Well, must work to some extent as had problem with dog allergic to dust mites and now under control. Used together with. Plug in mite repellent and tea tree.
