The machine is excellent for what I needed it for, bending 1/4-inch steel rods. I have no complaints about the machine. My rating is 5 stars.

My immediate task was to add 90-degree bends in a 3/16" brass rod which would become part of a tablet stand I was building. I’m a newbie in this area and was initially concerned that there was no documentation, only the tool, in the package. However, the bending process is pretty simple (watching a short video was ample preparation in this case) and the tool was well-suited to the task. I need some additional practice to achieve the precision I want but found the tool easy to set up and use.

I started making hooks and needed a mechanism to bend wire. I watched videos and made it work for me. Very sturdy unit. Thick steel. Surprising I this day. I recommend.

I could have built a better bender myself in under an hour. After I countersink the bolts, add a second handle, and add more pin positions it won't be a total waste of money.

Looks like this was made in a home shop from scrap steel. Steel is pitted with brown rust marks still showing after being buffed. Cut edges still sharp and rough. Arrived 3 weeks after ordered in a plain box. No company name or label. No paperwork of any kind. Just the rough tool. There is a YouTube video on how to make this exact tool. However it works within it's limits.
