For my long runs
I’m not sure whether these are meant for during exercise but I use them as fuel instead of gels on long runs. Got me round my marathon too. They’re big so I break them up and eat bit by bit across several miles. Much better taste than most gels and blocks out there! I’d happily eat one as a snack if I didn’t have any chocolate in my cupboard. Not particularly cheap, but don’t think they’re more expensive than other options either.

Tasty energy bars
Love these bars - they’re one of the best tasting and textured (like a heavy flapjack) energy bars I’ve tried, and they really do give a boost of energy. I eat them on a long run and they’re one of the few bars that I can stomach (usually bars sit too heavy and make running uncomfortable), so a huge plus for me.
