Works Perfect.
I use this for running early in the morning. I find the medium setting to be perfect for daily running. The bright setting is super bright and can illuminate a pretty good distance. In use on medium for a little over 1 hour the batter is not drained very much. In use on high for 1 hour it is drained about 1/3. It seems to charge in about 30-45 minutes. Very comfortable and light weight. Perfect early morning running headlamp.

Best headlamp for the price
So far this headlamp is the best one I’ve purchased to date. Same price as some 400 lumen headlamps I’ve purchased in the past, this one is significantly brighter at 700 lumen. Plus it has all the features necessary for night hikes. I use it every morning for 5am hikes with my dog and it has been running perfectly. It doesn’t dim after a while like other lamps, and I like the thick strap that makes it feel secure. Adjusting it is simple, it slides easily even with gloves on but doesn’t loosen as you move.

Works great even in cold temperature
Bought for a winter camping trip with sub 20 degree temps, had no problems, super bright when necessary and lasted a decent amount of time (4+ hrs). Didnt die on me so I don't know the full life. Only "issue" I found was that the light gets extremely warm after 30 minutes or so. USB-C charging is a plus! Would buy again.

High value for cost.
I had read several reviews for this light and was excited to get it for work. This light has surpassed my expectations. The three modes provide a variety of light warmth and brightness. I like the built in indicator for how much battery life is left. My only critique is that I wish the red light was slightly dimmer; it doesn’t need to be as bright as it is. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a headlamp for work or recreation.

Almost perfect?!
The media could not be loaded. Looking for a reliable, high-quality headlamp? The Nitecore Nu33 fits the bill... mostly. While it's definitely well-made and has more than enough output for most outdoor adventures, the advertised 700 lumens for 4 hours is a bit of a stretch. In reality, it only puts out 700 lumens for the first few minutes before throttling down to around 400 lumens in the first hour and dropping to under 100 lumens after 2.5 to 3 hours. Don't be fooled by the slightly, false advertising - it's a common issue with headlamps, but it's still worth noting. (For more information, check out the Nu33 PDF on the Nitecore website.)The LED light is much, much warmer than a BD Spot (2021 version), so it is a matter of preference I guess. Great color render on both LED lights on this headlamp ( primary and the secondary LED ). In terms of size, the Nu33 is similar to the BD Spot (2021 version), but it may be a matter of personal preference which one you prefer. The Nu33 has a balanced weight and is comfortable to wear.I am attaching some pictures to compare the size between this light and BD spot ( 2021 version ).The Nitecore Nu33 headlamp's use of a USB-C port is a game-changer - goodbye to fumbling with AAA or AA batteries! Simply plug it into your phone charger and you'll be ready to go in just an hour. This is especially convenient for international travel, where finding batteries can sometimes be a hassle. One major downside of the Nitecore Nu33 headlamp is the absence of a red light shortcut and light level memory. This can be inconvenient in situations where you need to use red light in a pitch dark tent or cabin, as you have to turn on the primary (brightest center) LED first before switching to red. The lack of these features is a significant flaw in the design of the headlamp, in my opinion. Additionally, the water resistance rating of IP66 may not be sufficient for a serious outdoor use and it would be more reassuring if the headlamp had a higher rating of IP67 or IP68.

Works great!
I used this for a month on the Appalachian trail. It worked great and the battery lasted a long time. I night hiked with it once and it was more than sufficient. I would buy it again!

Tilt bracket not as durable as old NU32
I've been using this NU33 headlamp for several months for work and have been getting adjusted to its quirks. It has plenty of brightness on the high setting with the primary light but, seems less impressive on middle and low settings. Battery life has never been longer than six hours on the medium for the primary light and about two hours on the highest setting. The tilt bracket that the flexible headband attaches to is much less durable than the one on the old NU32 was and has broken off already. In contrast, I have five NU32 headlamps that are several years old that have seen a lot rougher use at work than this NU33 and none of the tilt brackets on them have ever broken. The USB C charging port is a nice addition to this light, but the switch is unnecessarily complicated compared to the NU32. If the NU32 were still available, I would purchase that headlamp again, instead of this NU33.

WOW!
I am very impressed with this headlamp. That's really all that needs to be said. It does everything right, and seems to be of high quality.*Be sure to read the instructions (available as a download on Nitecore's website, a Nitecore video here, or also included in a tiny booklet in the box) if you want to get the full use of it, as some of the reviewers, including videos, apparently did not, and are giving incorrect information and details about the headlamp and how to operate it.

Terrific bang for the buck.
Very bright light. Lightweight & compact - so, when not needed, slips easily into my pocket.
