Great toy for a growing toddler. Fun and educational too!

My husband and I bought this for our two year old. He was always a little terror when he was watching the iPad on plane rides or on car rides. His one rule was he wasn’t allowed to touch the iPad. Of course, that rule didn’t last. But we still needed an alternative for traveling and we wanted to reverse our mistake of giving him too much screen time. This product is a necessary alternative!1. My child is obsessed with it! He easily grasped the concept of changing out the characters for different stories and songs. He also loves to play with the characters by themselves too.2. My biggest selling point was it is meant to be handled by toddlers. He can drop it from our dining table and I don’t have to worry about anything breaking. It’s virtually indestructible.3. It only requires WiFi when you download a new characters story to the box itself. Otherwise, no WiFi needed.4. Battery life is phenomenal. I charge it once a week!5. We also use the Tonie box as his sound machine at night! They have lullaby Tonies that are wonderful and so peaceful to listen to.6. The Creative Tonies are really cool, because Grandparents can read stories to them and they can always hear their grandparents voice. I wish we had this before my dad passed.Overall, well worth the money. If you’re still on the fence let this be the review that gets you to pull the trigger!

Great way to listen to the movie while avoiding screen time!

Grandkids absolutely LOVE it!!

It was great when it worked. I purchased the tonie box in October. The first one worked for about one hour, then quit working all together. I sent that one back and had it replaced with a second tonie box thinking I just got a lemon the first time. The second one stopped working after two months of use. It just went dead completely like the first one only I did get two months out of the second one. It’s a shame as this could be a really good product. I also believe the company knows this product is defective that is why there is only a 30day window to return and you cannot purchase an extended warranty.Update: I contacted tonie box customer service and they replaced the item with another tonie box. We haven’t received it yet. Will report back with an update once the item has been received.
