I bought these for my kids to throw in their lunchboxes instead of fruit gummies and they loved them. They have great texture and flavor and provide that sweet taste without all the extra processed sugar. I even found my husband eating them as a late night snack instead of candy.

We all want our kids to eat healthier and it can be difficult to find on the go snacks especially for toddlers/preschoolers. Cosmic Carrot Chews fit the bill. Each box comes with 5 pouches of fruit snacks which each contain a day's serving of carrots. The main ingredient in each is organic carrots followed by organic juices and other organic ingredients. Each pouch provides a full day's supply of Vitamin A.Visually they are not like the picture on the box. The carrot chews looks more like squished raisins of varied sizes. I tried all three flavors. The Apple Cinnamon Asteroid had a strong apple flavor but the cinnamon was faint at best. The Sour Cherry Berry Blast Off tasted like cherries but I didn't taste the berry (not sure which berry it was supposed to be as there was no berry juice in the ingredients). I only tried a single Orange Mango Moonbeam --- I am not a fan of mango flavor and it came through strong even though it was not specifically listed as an ingredient.Looking for an organic, healthy snack option for your kids that are also vegan, then you should try these Cosmic Carrot Chews.

I thought I was getting three boxes, but one box arrived for the price. The description is very misleading. Although very healthy and delicious, not worth the cost.

The Cosmic carrot chews I got did not taste good at all. The texture was bad and it was not appetizing to consume. The pieces are irregular and the flavors are not great. It is a carrot bit dunked in flavors and colorants. The pieces were hard and of all the flavors in the variety pack the berry one was the only one that was at least good to try. The others in my opinion were not good at all. The packaging and box are good but the product and the idea behind it did not go well. It was a good thought to use a carrot to make a chew instead of other sugary junk found in the market but the execution of this failed to please.

I was excited for these to show up. I'm always trying to find ways to sneak in more healthy choices for my kids to eat. We opened one of all the packs to give the variety packs a try. They are a far darker in color than what is pictured online and immediately my kids thought they were rotten and said they looked gross. I tried them first and told them they actually tasted good. Both kids tried them. The older kid (16) said they were okay, but she probably wouldn't eat them. The younger, 7-year-old, spit them out and said they were absolutely disgusting.One thing that could be improved, the chews have mixed consistency - some of them are very chewy and hard in spots while other pieces are soft and chewy. The hard spots were not easy to eat or chew up all the way and for kids that's just not going to work. (In the pictures you can see some with the darkest spots are extra hard.) They are also all very different sized pieces with large and very small pieces in the pouch.From an adult perspective, I don't really have a favorite flavor - they all had unique but pleasant flavors to me and each one tasted like the flavor they said to some degree. I like that they are only 60 calories per serving as well and zero fat. I really wish my kids would like them, but they won't even give them another shot. At $15 for 3 boxes, the price is pretty steep for carrot chews that my kids won't eat, and I would just eat the actual veggies myself, so there is no mission blast off in our house. The only place my kids want these launched is in the trash. Indefinite scrub.

I had read a bad review but I wanted to give them a try for myself. They are dehydrated carrots so they taste very similar to a really sweet raisin and look kind of similar as well. If you are not into dried fruits or vegetables these probably aren’t for you, but we loved dried fruits and veggies in our house! These were a huge hit! Very flavorful!

A healthy fruit snack. My kids love the taste of these. I do too!
