the lights are sectional, so only in about 4" sections they have individual colors. however, the light is evenly spread with no hotspots, extremely bright. im having fun with the music setting. Very Cool!

I should have known better than to purchase from an unknown brand. Strip worked for all of 2 minutes then a range of LED's died and the rest of the strip except for the first foot is useless. I would not recommend purchasing this item. Go with a better name brand item that likely has better quality control practices.

My daughter loves these in her room! they are super easy to place and she has moved them a couple times to find the "right" place for them. She loves that she can change the color by her Alexa and uses them daily!

Update 09/26/2022So after my previous review their team contacted me to offer two new rope lights as replacements. When I received them, one was working perfectly fine and the other had the same issue and that I reported promptly with a picture of it, to their sales team. They sent another replacement pretty quick. All in all I now have two rope lights that have been working perfectly without any issues for like a week. I use the Feit electric app to connect to these lights and it works great.I will update the review again after a month or so to let everyone know how they perform in the longer term.But rest assured these people stand behind their business so that's an extra point to the seller.----------------------------------------------------08/12/2022Very poorly made rope light. I ordered two of these and one was not working out of the box. Only a quarter of the light strip was working. Looking closely I saw that the led strips that are enclosed underneath the silicone are loosely packed and weren't making connection. I thought I may have received a bad piece. The second one on the other had was working perfect and so I already placed a replacement order for the defective piece. After 30 minutes or so I was 3/4th of the second strip that was working fine had a small segment that wasn't lighted up. So I decided to connect this one to the app to check on that particular segment. Nope didn't work at all. After a while 3/4 th of the light strip stopped working. All in all this proves that these are not good quality lights. Now I to go through the pain of returning these and also the replacement that I ordered because I am pretty sure they won't work either. I would suggest everyone to stay away from these to avoid the hassle of returning.

Straight out the package that look great, responsive in the app, full featured. Very good range of white unlike other brands. Two things spoil the experience, Google integration is poor. Completely hit or miss in terms of getting the light to come on with Google commands. And no ability to control colors from Google like with Hue for example. Secondly, in about a week I've had about a 6 inch length just decide to do its own thing. Can't control the color, can't ever turn it off, randomly blinks.

The first one I bought came broken, they sent me another one that stopped working in less than 40 DAYS! Doesn’t change color, doesn’t connect to Wi-Fi and just turn off if I unplug. It’s upsetting

The light constantly glitches out. Segments lose light (as shown in the picture). The light will flash and glitch off/on The light will not stay connected to the wifi even though it is 4 feet away from the router, so app control is not good. I'm sure some people's lights have been fine, but this one was not. I purchased because it was 50% off. I received a unit that works 50% of the time.

The media could not be loaded.  Although the remote wasn't working properly, it was easy to use on the app. It looked really nice until 3/4 of it stopped working randomly after a few weeks and after trying to reset it, it was glitching and nothing would change except for the 1/4 closest to the power cord. It was really nice at first so I'm disappointed it broke.
