It's a good kit, lots of useful tools for leather sewing. Compact and well organized. More thread colors than I need, I'd rather have the same amount of thread all in black. But then, I only need it for making knife sheaths, and I already have a big spool of black. At thirty yards per color, this will still last a long time for my other sewing needs.

This is an amazing kit. I’ve been getting into leatherwork and upholstery and it’s got just about everything I need! I still haven’t had to order new thread yet, and the finger covers are a livesafer. My only qualm is that the needles break super easy but 🤷🏻‍♀️ cheap to replace as well.

Overall it's a great choice for a beginner no doubt about it ! Depending on the kind of crafting you'll find yourself using just a few items but having a few more is in your arsenal is always a great way to start any crafting journey.I would strongly recommend upgrading a few things like the needles and awls . After a month of use I snapped 2 needles and my awl split in two . Other than that I recommend!

I had never done any leather work before getting this kit. This kit has everything I needed and more. I've used it to alter leather tool rolls to make them a more secure fit. It has way more colors than I will probably ever use. Everything seems to be of decent quality and they way the kit is put together is very convenient (I put it on shelves with a bunch of other tools.

I purchased a new leather sewing kit but what I received is very clearly used. The tape was cut on the box, items have obviously been handled and thrown back in with little care, and at least on item is missing entirely (scissors).

Looks like a good starter set. Has all the basics.
