Great idea that needs a bit more refinement
The camera functions well, and it’s movement is a true 320-350 degrees. Connecting to your network takes a minute, and the app is fairly simple. The major drawback is the light that it gives off: it’s not NEARLY adequate for security. I like bright light on the outside of my home as a deterrent (shady people don’t like light), so I use 100w bulbs on my house. This thing doesn’t even come close to that kind of output. To its credit, it does have good night vision, so what little light it does put out is enough to really illuminate whatever it picks up, and it activates right away with movement. Overall, it’s a good product, but if you want plenty of light on the outside of your home and you don’t have two outlets available, you may need to try another product.

Worth it for the affordable price
The media could not be loaded. It took me SO LONG to finally get this up and running because my internet connection was only able to connect to the highest setting. With that being said, that's not exactly a fault of the product, though I do wish I could use it with my higher connection. The instructions for setup are fairly clear - however one part left me confused far long than it should've been. When time to scan the QR code with the camera, it keeps saying "Waiting for connection" leaving one to believe it's still trying to connect to the internet. Once that was figured out it was fairly smooth sailing. The picture quality isn't bad by any means, but I noticed it does not record when you zoom. Not a deal breaker, but something worth noting. Laggy controls when trying to adjust the camera, but it gets there eventually.Basically, if you have patience and want to spend way less for a still good - albeit not brilliant - device,I do recommend this. I'll probably be getting more for inside and outside the home as it came with an option for directly plugging into an outlet.

Caution... Yihoume is not the same company as Yi home
I searched for a "YI lightbulb camera" and the Yihoume device popped up... They do not use the same application and are not compatible but didn't find this out until I tried to set it up at home... Also Amazon is charging me $1.00 to return the device if I take it to the local UPS store... So sad...

Setup is a hassle
I would have given it more stars but setup is kind of a nightmare on an android phone. It sends you to verify your password for your email, wants samsung to have all kinds of permissions, NO WAY btw for that. When i finally set it up works good for the price in chicken shed. THEN I wanted to add the app to wife's phone.....That's when I was ready to throw it through the wall. write down all the passwords to set this thing up. Otherwise you're in for triple the amount of fun. Finally just removed the apps and reset the bulb and started all over. What a good time that was.

Motion sensor doesn't work for long
We purchased in December 2022 and loved it. As of April 2023, the motion sensor option does not work. We have tried every troubleshooting option, with no positive outcome.

I love it, after almost sending it back
I could not figure out how to force my Android phone to 2.4G; it always would select 5G. On my second day, while going through my Modem software program, I discovered that I could set up a guest network in my home using the modem software and SELECT the fixed modem speed for that network: 2.4G or 5G. Bingo, I set up the new network for 2.4G only and always log my Android phone onto that network. That does not affect anything else in the home that is logged onto the 5G network. Also, I found that using my Samsung S7 small phone screen for viewing and controlling the camera was a little frustrating. I discovered that I could download to my laptop (hooked up to a 23" video monitor) a free 'Android Emulator' program (LDPlayer) that would 'emulate' (imitate) my Samsung phone. Then, while in the 'emulator' program, go to the Google play store and download the Tuya smart app into the emulator. Bingo; since the laptop is on my Wi-Fi network, I can now open the Tuya app, in the emulator, in my laptop, and watch and control the camera functions with my mouse on a 23" screen. I can leave that app open all day on my laptop and check my camera(s) occasionally throughout the day/night.

Difficult to setup, but works great when it is.
This works great after it is setup. I set mine up in what would be called the upside down position. There's an option to "flip" which I needed to use. I found that it is frustrating to setup, which I don't necessarily blame the manu for. However once it is setup, now I don't touch it and it does the job very well. Note: potential for reset after updates, power loss.
