Q: What kind of bushing or bearing does this have?

The pulley is stainless steel, there is no bearing, the wheel is fastened to the body using a pin that is removable. The pin is held in place with a cotter pin. The wheel is approximately 2” in diameter and 3/4” wide. The wheel is loose in the pin with a fair amount of slop. This is a good general use pulley, it’s heavy and bulky and will work with up to 1/2” rope.

Q: Will this work with 1/2" diameter rope?

It should. I use mine with rubber bands to work my rotator cuff after surgery. I took my back scratcher which is a half an inch wide and it fit between the two rims. wood handle is flat and rope is round so you should get a nice fit on the pulley. Maybe M50 stands for half an inch as in .50 which in inches is half an inch.

Q: whats the waight limit?

Description states 400kg, which is about 880 lbs.
