Amazing little unit!
I got this to replace an older aging portable projector I had and it’s definitely an upgrade. It seems brighter than the rated output and movies look great on it.I tried the smart capabilities but they seem lacking since it’s running an older and modified version of android.(if it was running android tv os that would be great)I use a fire tv stick so that’s not a problem for me.Took me a bit to find how to get it to work with 4k but it does work (even if it’s downscaling to 1080) the hdr color is there and looks great. The auto focus is spot on(which surprised me)Only downside I’m seeing is the os wants to freeze on me when I use it on battery(which isn’t good) I’m hoping it’s just a one fluke and will not happen again. The build quality is top notch while unboxing it I got an apple like vibe with how well it was packed

Probably the best portable projector you can get in the 500 to 750 range
I couldn't justify paying 1k plus for this projector given the real home theater options available on the market at that price point or lower. But in the 500 to 750 range, it packs enough of everything to make it, imo, the best portable projector out there.Picture quality is great. 600 lumens combined with 1080p resolution is enough for excellent picture quality at night or in a darkened room and pretty good picture quality for most things in the day time so long as there isn't direct sunlight. What I love the most about this thing is the zoom, vertical and horizontal keystone correction options, and screen shift. I can put it pretty much anywhere, point it generally in the direction of the surface I'm using as a screen, and use the manual correction settings to set up a great picture. It makes the projector ridiculously portable, even beyond the form factor.I also really like the intelligent obstacle detection and auto keystone functions, which work best when the projector is directly across and lined up with the surface you're throwing at. I can put it on my ottoman and throw an 84 inch screen right next to my 77 inch lg oled, and it fixes itself to keep the screen within boundaries so it isn't obstructed by the furniture in its path. The speakers are awful, and the onboard launcher is worse. But a fire stick and a Bluetooth speaker honestly makes the whole experience better. The build quality feels great, and I love that there is a built in lens cap. I don't like that there isn't a standard tripod notch on it, but, again, the form factor and auto and manual correction options make it possible to put it pretty much anywhere without a tripod. It doesn't run loud or hot, and is ridiculously portable. It's amazing something this size can put out the picture quality it does.I don't think there is a better option for a second screen or even a main screen under the right conditions that offers the portability and picture quality combo this projector does.Pics: First pic is a night time side by side of an 84 inch projection next to my my 77 inch lg oled; second is the projector screen too big for me to measure on a blank wall in an AirBnB we rented; final is a day time side by side with the lg.

Incredible for its Size, Quality if the Price is Right
I, too, made this purchase with the Prime Day deal. Hands down this unit is worth what I paid at the Prime Day price. What immediately stands out is the build quality. This is one solidly built projector and handling it confirms my opinion that it is built to last in addition to how aesthetically pleasing it's design. The form factor is ridiculously small given the performance. The projector while not heavy like a brick does have some weight and has a very solid feel. I selected this projector mainly based on these factors: price, ability to perform well enough in ambient light, 4K capability, internal battery or ability to be powered by power bank, availability of apps, as high a lumen output as possible while being highly portable, and ALDP. Actually, this being a laser projector made it an easy decision over a competitor like the XGIMI Halo+ which is a DLP unit.Given all those factors, to me, this is currently the best grab and go projector currently available. The positives so far are picture quality and brightness with excellent color rendering, it's so quiet, the projector does not run hot at all though the power supply will get warm. Also, you have plenty of options to get media to the projector with screen mirroring, HDMI, and USB. Bluetooth for external speakers works great as does the 3.5mm headphone jack. The auto focus and auto keystone correction have worked flawlessly every time so far. The only minor negative is the app interface is not the greatest, but its not bad either. It took me some time to get apps I use installed and working but they do work and I don't have to rely on a streaming stick for the most part. I believe these units are expected to get Android TV and increased voice functionality in a firmware update possibly in August so those would be a huge advancements too. I absolutely would buy this again for the Prime Day deal, and probably also at it's current $750 price. I expect to be enjoying this projector for a long time because it goes where I go even way out in the middle of the woods.
