Works well, but is visable to the naked eye
Used this product to illuminate an outdoor PTZ camera. It's small, lightweight, and compact. It's NOT invisible at night to the naked eye, as the LED's on the device do have a red glow to them. The resultant IR light is good. I found that I can illuminate a larger area by bouncing the IR light off of an exterior wall and onto the surrounding area. This allows me to make the area close to the building highly visible, while giving sufficient illumination to the surrounding area. By facing the sensor toward the wall, the red glow immigrating from the LED's was not visible from street.I purchased the 30 ft cord, because the sensor was a distance from an electrical outlet. There was a small piece of heat shrink tubing included (with no instructions). I used this and a heat gun to help make the connection between the device and the extension a bit more water resistant. When using the extension, there are actually two connections, so I used an additional piece of heat shrink that I had laying around the house for the other connection. The hardware to install the device was included and there is an adjustable gimble that allows you to pretty-much adjust the angle any way you want. The devices works great and is inexpensive. Hopefully it will hold-up in the long run.

You'll like it
I purchased this light last year to supplement my Eufy camera systems night vision. The difference with the light on and off is amazing, you can see so much further away vs the camera light alone. Another benefit I've noticed is the insects at night will tend to go towards it instead of buzzing around in front of my camera. I did mount it several feet away from the camera hoping it might have that effect. Most importantly though is the manufacturers customer service. The light stopped working after about 11 months, so I went on the manufacturers website and left a description of the problem. I was contacted the next day via email and I simply sent them my Amazon order number and they replaced the light. This was probably one of the best experiences I've ever had with a manufacturers customer service as the correspondence was fast, professional, and extremely pleasant.

Lights up my backyard in the dark
I use this with my SimpliSafe system. I bought two and they helped the night vision. Brings better quality video to the camera. No need to worry about battery life. It plugs right into the wall. Built well and it lasts through all of the storms. Makes no sound

Provides good infrared illumination
For: Tendelux DI20B IR Illuminator | Long Range Infrared Flood Light for Security CameraProvides good infrared illumination at night, so it does help the camera provide a better night-time image, hoever, it still does not help the camera"obtain crystal clear images at night." as the product-description suggests. Hence just the 4-stars

Bright as noonday sun
This picture tells you everything you need to know about the before and after installing this light. On the corner of my shed I mounted two Ring Outdoor Plus cameras on either side of the corner. only on one side is the infrared light mounted. The cameras are mounted at the bottom of the roofline and the light is mounted at the peak of the roof. The way the light is mounted, the side of the shed blocks the light from the left half of the picture. So this picture is from the camera pointing in the opposite direction that the light is pointing. The left hand side is lit by the camera's built in infrared light and the right side is augmented by the light. Bright as day and crystal clear. The second picture is the camera pointed in the same direction as the light before the other camera was mounted so the dark area is darker because there is no 2nd camera with built in infrared.Installation was a breeze. Thinking of getting a timer to cut use in half....only have it for a week so no knowledge of long term life

Started flickering, determined to have defective power supply.
I bought this to supplement the small IR lights in the Cobra security camera and it turned pitch black night into full daylight. I you walked outside it's pitch black. People and animals have no idea how bright it looks like outside. Now it flickers. If you look up at the light at night you can see the red lights flicker on and off. Back inside my office, looking at the TV monitors it looks like the monitor is going off and on, black vs white. The problem was the power supply. It is producing 12.7V on a voltmeter, I changed it over to a new 12V power supply that produces 12.6V and the flickering went away. I checked the original power supply to an O-scope and it is defective . It is not the light, it was a defective power supply.

Not useful for outside but great for inside
This is a really small light (D120) which is great if you want something that is unobtrusive and works well (indoors) such as in a room at night or in a garage where people keep generators, tools, etc. It really DOES light up the garage for me. It really does make a difference for my garage cameras. Outside, no. It just does not have it from my point of view. It barely made a difference outside on my driveway. In my garage, I have it in a corner and it does a great job. With the garage door closed and the 36 inch metal door with half glass, it does come on so my solution was to put a smart plug on it to have it powered up about a half hour before sundown and about a half hour after sunrise. During the day, my cameras do fine in the garage. So while the light was sensing enough darkness to turn on inside the garage during the day...that is no longer an issue with the smart plug. Maybe if you have a very short driveway and you have two of these lights then "maybe" OK outside but probably not. For outside, get something bigger. I can't stress enough how small this light is...square but about as big a front as a softball but just an inch or so wide so it really is unobtrusive and very easy to hang. Where people are getting it is some kind of miracle light outside for security cameras at night-I just don't see that.

Cheap Junk Despite The Price.
Edit. One star originally because first one lasted about a month and a half. Customer service sent me a new unit reasonably quick when I contacted them. I'll reserve judgment depending on how long this new one lasts. Otherwise it's a decent IR for the money.
