Subtle but effective
I was skeptical at first but, having tried it I am pleased. It did give me a calm feeling and I slept well too. Kin Euphorics dream light.

Expiration date is the kicker
I think this is a pretty good product actually, but it has some major caveats. The first is that it says on the bottle that it should be used within a week of opening. That was...disappointing to find out. I had hoped to just keep this stuff on hand to use when I wanted a nightcap. As others have pointed out, this is already a small bottle, and it seems like this refrigerator life means you either need to commit to drink it every single night and spend 160 bucks a month on it, or you drink it every night for like a week every now and then. Or you end up wasting most of it.Beyond this glaring shortcoming, the stuff is actually pretty good. I was honestly expecting the sedative effect to be very subtle, but, I definitely felt drowsy an hour or two after drinking it. It seems a lot of people are drinking it straight and, yeah, don't do that. Mix it with something. This is like a non-alcoholic liqueur. It goes very well with Ginger Beer, I can't help but think that's what they designed it for. That being said, the taste wasn't /that/ special. It was good, but to be honest, I can't say a botanical mocktail and a handful of nootropics wouldn't have been better. Did I really just write that sentence? What I am doing with my life. I am going to go think about some things now.

Tastes Horrendous but is highly effective
I've had horrible insomnia my entire life, as young as 5 I recall going 36-48 hours with no sleep. I've been like this my entire life. I decided to buy this product on a whim, expecting it not to work. I purchased it to develop a bedtime routine rather than expecting the active ingredients to play an active role in my sleep. There is no placebo effect here. The moment you start sipping it, this stuff has a palpable effect. It's very similar to consuming very high amounts of CBD. I'm high anxiety and very drug sensitive. Nearly everything worsens that anxiety, including melatonin. Not this. I feel relaxed and slightly euphoric using it, small physical pains from stress (clenching my jaw and back, a sore wrist from using a mouse for hours and hours, etc) melt away. I sleep very deeply, but not too deeply. A common issue with both alcohol and Mary Jane is a disruption of restful REM sleep, resulting in poor sleep quality and exhaustion over time. I'm still actively dreaming using this product, but my dreams are less stressful, sleep is more consistent/deeper, and I wake up feeling more refreshed. Though, I would not use this if you plan on only getting 3-5 hours of sleep in a night. On to the taste: My fiancee doesn't mind it, I despise it. If you've ever had pure aloe juice, not the sweetened stuff. The taste is very similar to that. Overly vegetative, almost like drinking water that steeped dirt like coffee. There is a hint of the spices referenced on the label. I've tried it with oatmilk and sweetened condensed milk. The sweetened condensed milk made it more palatable, but health wise I would recommend the oat milk. Drinking it iced/cold makes it all worse. I've been able to choke it down doing 1-1.5oz of Kin, 4-8 oz oat milk, 2tsp brown sugar, and a sprinkle of cinnamon. I think nutmeg and possibly cloves or allspice would mix well as well. I'm lazy so I just pop it in the microwave. The product has a tendency to sink to the bottom, so be ready to shoot it like a shot or mix constantly.I highly recommend this. It is quite expensive, but it's effectiveness justifies the expenditure in my life.

No effect and unpleasant taste
Did not like the taste and no effect on overall body feel. Opted for warm oat milk with warming spices.

Fine but massively overpriced.
Unlike some other reviewers, I thought the taste of this was okay. I also think it helped me to sleep. However, $40 for a 500ml bottle with eight servings that needs to be consumed within a week is crazy. I could spend about that on a bottle of craft spirits that's aged, looks beautiful in the glass and can be enjoyed over time. This just doesn't feel special enough, and the flavour profile isn't complex or rich enough to justify the price: it looks like murky bong water and has a thin consistency. The suggestion of serving it with ... oat milk??? is so bizarre. Did they just pick that because plant milks are trendy right now? I tried it and it's like something a little kid would drink. If the makers of n/a drinks are trying to create an alternative to real alcohol, they're going to need to try a bit harder than this, or perhaps try to understand what people enjoy about alcohol in the first place.
