Very relaxing, tru Zen...

I purchased this based on the look and because it's advertised as making water sound. It doesn't. It's quiet and it leaks all over the place when the water gets low. If you just want it for the look, perfect, but don't purchase based on the sound.

The media could not be loaded.  It works. I like that it makes a constant, tame water dripping sound. The motor is quiet enough that it's unheard while the fountain's on. You want to make sure you tuck all the wires into the fountain bowl in the back of the sculpture; if you don't, water will drip through the little bowls down the wires and out behind the fountain. That happened to me initially because I didn't tuck all the wires in, and I had to wipe a lot of water off the floor after I noticed. I don't use the LED lights so I just didn't plug in the wires for them.The only con: there's no on/off switch. The fountain simply runs as long as it's plugged in. A smart plug can easily solve that, but I don't have any (yet).

The Haobos tiered bamboo appearance column tabletop fountain is a fine little decorative item for a countertop at the entrance to your home. At $25 it's finally an item that's priced right for what it is. It's not high art, but it looks just fine. The only two real problems with this are minor: it doesn't have much of a "tank" so it needs to be topped off with water every day, else it'll run dry and burn out the pump. 2) The plastic is painted on the inside (water holding) parts with a non-waterproof paint that blisters and peels off. That seems stupid to me since the paint is almost the same color as the plastic. Oh well. At this price these are acceptable problems.

I thought the dog was drinking out of it as I had to keep filling it often. As it turns out, there’s a hole in it somewhere. It leaks from somewhere at the bottom of the fountain. I thought I found the leak and tried sealing it with super glue, but it didn’t help. Might’ve been cool if it worked correctly.

Wish I could rate this a 5. It runs quietly, and it's very pretty. However, when the water gets too low, it ALWAYS leaks... as in leaks a lot. It actually warped the wood on my night stand a little... So, if you get this, just make sure to always keep the water level high.
