I love this! It is written from the pov of a kid with tef & is so much easier for kids to understand. I can't wait until we can read this in my daughter's class (9.5y)...someday! So hopeful these teffers can return to some kind of normal some day!

A great read for a family with an ea/TEF child! :)
I’m so glad I purchased Abigail’s Smile! This book is a great way to help people better understand the meaning of esophageal atresia! It’s a quick and easy read that allows children to see the differences in their internal anatomies. It also helps families to feel connected to others who have gone or are going through a similar time with EA/TEF. <3<3

Simply explains EA/TEF for kids.
A pretty good book for kids explaining EA/TEF. My 6 year old is very curious. My 3 year old who has it doesn’t really ask questions yet but knows his swallowing and everything is different. The book is kind of hard to read emotionally due to everything our EA/TEF kids go through. But not in a bad way. There aren’t many books like this so I recommend it. Why not.

It tells the basic story of ea/tef
It's a short book. It wasnt as great as I thought it would be. I was hoping my daughter could relate and understand what ea/tef is....but shes 5 and still doesnt understand. The book was no help.

So glad I bought this book for my son
Loved this book. My son is 2 1/2 and was born with ea/tef. I think this book is not only excellent for children to know being different is ok but it also gives a fundamental explanation of the condition for adults to understand as well.
