Well made for the price. Flipper action works very and has gotten even easier with use. Its very easy to open and close with one hand. The brown micarta handle will get darker the more you handle and I feel it looks better after time. Only thing I did to improve it was I rounded off the edges of the flipper tap.

I love a fidgety knife. Love when the detent is just perfect and it snaps open with a flick. This was not close. The detent sucks to be honest. As long as you never need to open it in a timely manner or you hate your thumbs it’s okay.Too bad though. It is a nice looking and sharp little knife.

Good knife so far but I specifically choose the micarta version because I preferred the look of the pocket clip over the one that came on the g10 models. Disappointingly when mine showed up it had the same clip that comes on the g10 models. I would like to somehow get the other clip but I’m not sure how.

I generally prefer traditional folders but I figured I would like to have one modern flip-open type for fun. This has become one of my most-used EDC knives. I didn't want a knife that looked tactical or military but also wanted something modern looking and the style of this balances that nicely. Sleek lines, no excess adornment or decoration, interesting (and still useful) blade shape. Flips open very easily with out necessarily having to get it positioned "just so" in my hand. I use it regularly and have had no issues keeping it sharp. I don't use it on days I'm working in my yard or garage because it's too classy (that's a KABAR Dozier day). Thus is my casual clothes/running errands/shopping with my wife/hanging out with friends knife. Only con: if you don't flip it with enough speed the blade doesn't lock in. It always works when I open it one-handed but has problems if opened two-handed. Also, I wouldn't trust the locking mechanism for heavy-duty use.

I own a Begleiter 2 and the mini is a fantastic companion to it's bigger brother. It is an addicting, fidgety "mini me" knife that satisfies the itch to fidget. Fantastic smooth deployment much akin to the full sized Begleiter, this small knife has gained my respect and is a favorite edc...Dom...

So it’s a pretty lousy little knife. I’ll be throwing mine in the River or giving it to my misfit neighbor. The thumb stub geometry is messed up and doesn’t cut the mustard.

Even better in person. Snappy action, super smooth detent, out of this world acoustics. A true fidget knife. Blade is sharp and durable.

Nice little knife but the detent is very sticky on mine. Very difficult to flick open. Otherwise very smooth.

He's a fantastic quality small size knife highly recommended Every day carry. The black Micarta scales are really beautifully made and makes this a really good gentlemans knife.
