When I plugged in for the first time, despite following the instructions, nothing happened. Checking my power supply I could see it was drawing no current.When I opened the case I found the ground pin hadn't been soldered. Got the iron out and fixed it, so now it works. Shouldn't have to do that.On the positive side the 2.4Ghz remote is a nice touch, doesn't need line of sight like a infrared one. Having buttons with preset colours is great. Previously had a version with a colour wheel which made choosing a colour hit and miss.

I bought this as an existing controller appears to have failed on a set of lights I’ve had up in my kitchen for some time now.You set it up via the Magic Home Pro app, which I had read some good reviews about, but once set up, frustratingly, the controller simply does not respond. Alexa does not pick it up either.It will be getting returned for a refund today.
