This was a perfect replacement for my Pentair skimmer.

This was a perfect fit for my pool.

This is for first timers only. Once you know, you know and it’ll always be easy. Do NOT bother with the instructions here on Amazon. They are incomplete. My gate did NOT come with instructions so I had to figure it out in my own.1) Switch your pool equipment off.2) Feel around inside the Skimmer Opening. You’ll discover a slight lip created by the tile. Install the new gate flush with the lip. You’ll, also feel the holes on either side right at the lip.3) Insert the new gate with the locking pins toward the pool. Slowly press the gate into position until you feel the pins lock into the holes on either side of the opening.4) Switch your equipment back on.

This worked and was an exact replacement for my broken skimmer flap. The price was less of a rip-off than most other replacements.

These seemed to be exact replicas or even the same part number as the gates I was replacing. BUT... they needed some filing on the edges because they didn't exactly fit in the weir opening. Took a few tries of installing and filing to get it correct and functional.
