Jive Microstubz USB-A to Micro USB Cable 7 CM Black

i had just picked up a new external battery, the  New Trent Powerpak 11.0 , for charging my devices on the go. my daily driver phone is a samsung gs3, which has a footprint about the same size as the battery, and the charging output on the battery is in the same spot as the input on the phone when you place the phone on top of the battery. i didn't want to use a 3' cord to travel the 2" needed from battery to phone, so i started looking for short jumpers. this product won the price/shipping speed contest.my main concern was that the cable was not going to charge my phone as fast as the battery's original cable, because this product is listed as a "charge & sync". however, i get charging speed that's almost the same as it was with the original cable.i'm not sure on the durability of this product, but it's held up to my regular use for a week now with no problems. the cable feels a bit loose going into the back of the microUSB plug, so i will keep an eye on that and update this review if it fails. for now though, this product is doing exactly what i need at a price i can live with.

I needed to find the tiniest USB cable possible to use on a Bluetooth adapter in my car. I use it for a TaoTronics Bluetooth adapter, which needs to be connected to both an aux cable and a USB cable. I needed something as short and tiny as the TaoTronics aux cable that runs parallel to the USB cable. This microStubz cable works perfectly. It allows for the Bluetooth adapter to stay as close as possible to the aux and USB ports in my Mini Cooper, so as to take up minimal space in my center console (which is where the Bluetooth adapter lies). This is a perfect little cord.

Just got this to work with my new Blackberry Bold 9780. I tested it was able to perform a backup with the Blackberry Desktop Software and I can see the little charging icon when it's plugged in to my computer. Both ends of it seem to connect snugly enough to the computer and the Blackberry. I've seen a number of reviews for other products saying that the cables don't always work perfectly, so wanted to let everyone know that this product seems quite kosher. I'm going to buy a second one to leave in my desk drawer just in case.Update: This is also great to carry with you to charge your Kindle! You can plug the Kindle into a computer with this quite easily, and since it's so compact, it saves a lot of space compared to a Kindle cable and charger.

I wanted a short, compact cable that would just very easily connect my phone to an external charger of quickly connect it to my laptop as a cellular modem. This cable has been just that. Without all the bulk of a long cable that just becomes a pain to coil and store in my computer bag, This cable just gets thrown in the front pocket and never comes out tangled or stuck on other cables. Worth it's weight in gold if you ask me. My only small complaint is that the micro USB side of the cable fits a little loosely in my phone. But none of that detracts from it's useability and convenience. I'll definitely buy another if I ever need it. but it's been going strong for a year and gets used every single day.

I used this short USB cable between a charger capable of 2 amps and my old Galaxy S 4 phone. With the 4 ft cable that came with the charger, the phone would only allow 420 ma, but with this short cable it allowed 1500 ma fast-charging. This is because the phone senses the voltage drop in the cable and restricts the current when the cable is not adequate for fast charging.If your phone is not allowing fast-charging, this cable may help.

This is an excellent length for tethering your phone to a laptop or charging something that has a removable USB end on the charger.Before going on a trip in October '11, I bought this microStubz and a slightly longer Amzer Universal Micro USB to USB Data Sync and Charge Handy Small Cable (Black)from Amazon. Both are extremely handy and very worthwhile having. Took both along in one of those small Ziploks stuffed into the laptop case.Leave that long cable at home!!!! Got the idea to look for short cables from an item on Onebag.com -- and Amazon had exactly what I wanted. Very, very useful -- and about time!

I purchased this short (approx. 5" end to end) cable for use with my PowerGen charger while on the road. I didn't want a lot of left over cable hanging around because I sometimes use my KFHD, Galaxy Player and LG cell phone while charging and this cable keeps both items close together so that I don't accidently drop either one.

Turned out to be too short for the purpose I needed it for. One problem with these types of items is whether the length measurement refers to the cable length or the total length including connectors. I ordered a different product from Amazon that works perfectly and this one I can still use to charge items from my PC.

Very handy and sturdy product, well worth the price. I kept breaking USB cables for my phones (accidental pocket-squishing, or too much cable-tugging). This short little cable does a great job because of its form factor, making it hard to randomly tug, and is the perfect length for a short "U" between a portable battery charger and phone if you stack them on top of each other, which is how I use this. Has lasted over a year in rough use.

This is a great high quality cable, I keep it in my bag every day for emergency phone charging. It is in my opinion just a little too short though. I always find I am awkwardly bending the cable to properly position my phone while charging. A an extra inch or 2 would make this perfect.
