I first saw these used at an outdoor catered event and thought it was brilliant! My husband and I dine outside on our patio almost every evening in the summertime, but the flies can create a less than pleasant experience. We keep this on the outside patio table, and just flip it on when the flies invite themselves to dinner and they stay away. The mylar fan blades help to dissuade them from approaching as well as the movement of the blades. You have the option of plugging it in, or using batteries. It also looks nice, and is quiet. We've had friends over for dinner, and they've commented that they wanted to get one after seeing how effective they are.

I recently saw these in Hawaii at the Ritz Carlton breakfast buffet. It was an efficient and classy way to keep away flying insects.

I was pleasantly surprised how this device works. It’s quiet and really keeps glued/bugs away while eating.

Not portable. Dumb because you cant use it outside (where flies are).

this did help, but does not keep all bugs away. noticed about 1/4 of the flies around than before, and didn't do anything to keep the bees away.

Be sure to open all of these and test them when you receive them. I only opened a couple is the boxes based on what I needed to use, and when I opened another a month later it would not power on. I missed the return window and wasted my money on broken product.

We love to eat outdoors but don't like the flies. This spinning table top does a great job keeping flies away from us and our food. Definitely will buy again because it works!
