The garage door opener motor was delivered in pristine condition. I had it installed professionally and it works beautifully.

I purchased two of these, one for each of the garage doors. They are absolutely amazing. Super quiet, unbelievably quiet. The cameras are great and give me piece of mind. I also purchased separately the keypad with camera to cover the entire garage area. The app is easy to setup and get connect everything. I had the lifts installed professionally. These are so amazing especially for the price (Black Friday purchase). I cannot say enough about how quiet they are compared to the chain driven ones I had before.

I did the install of this myself and had no problems once I had visited the website and found the instructions. This opens and closes the door even more quietly than a screw drive I had at a previous home. The light is bright and very useful. The camera is great with a clear picture. The app does what you need it to do. Even the wall switch is so smooth and quiet, I'm never sure I've pressed it until I see the door moving. The remote in my car though costs this a star. Even though it is securely clipped to my visor, it rattles constantly. I'm not sure if one of the buttons is loose, or if it's the case.

I had to replace 3 garage door motors and was on the fence about how much “Tech” I wanted on a motor that I only needed to open/close a door. I bought these on a Black Friday deal so that pushed me over the fence. They work great, super quiet and great range on the garage door remotes.Installation was made easy using the QR code to download the installation manual/video so if you know how to turn a wrench it’s almost impossible to mess it up. The first motor took 40 mins to install while the third motor took 15 minutes. I was able to reuse the existing garage door sensors on 2 of the three doors without any issues.Now for the “Tech” review…The App acts like any other App, when it works it’s awesome, but when it doesn’t it is absolutely frustrating. In my humble opinion that’s just technology and I’ll say that since I installed these in November and it now is February, it’s been working for me 75 percent of the time. I look at it as a “plus” feature so it’s not a deal breaker but I didn’t buy these to “depend” on the app feature.All in all, they are a great motor. I’d definitely purchase again if I had to but only if they are on sale…

Replaced an 8yr old Genie screw drive with this one because we wanted wifi connectivity and we could not get the genie to work with our car's Homelink. I installed the opener myself, it was pretty easy. The one step I missed which ended up costing me an hour is the opener will not work until you first set the limits. Its a nice opener, quiet, no connectivity issues, works well. Will probably get another for our small garage.

Feel so secure with this garage door. Love that you can operate from the phone and can see what cars are in the garage

***EDIT: in the last 2 months, with the opener being about 3 years into the install (from brand new) it has started to stop while closing, I had a specialist come over and he says he thinks it is the opener going bad. Now tonight, the camera completely quit, no lights at all. That's after about 20 to 30 times of having it fail on me and having to reinstall it, often not working when I'm not at home and not able to see deliveries of who is coming in and out of my garage (kids or relatives or whomever). I have dropped this from a 2 star to a 1 star review. I emailed Chamberlain, remains to be seen if they will answer.The opener itself has been great for the main job it is supposed to do. It was relatively easy to install, and it is very quiet and reliable (thus far). That being said, I should have NEVER gotten the one with the camera.You have to have the MyQ app in order to use the camera, or operate the garage door opener away from home. I can't think of a way to put it nicely, so here it is: the app is garbage.Pros:You can open the garage from anywhere in the world using the appCons:You have to have a monthly subscription to save any footage or even watch footage from earlier, even on the same day. You can't set the camera up on your own network, you can't save the footage on your own hard drive, they force you to pay that monthly fee if you want access to the camera. Wish I'd have known this beforehand.There is no way to adjust the notification settings outside of either turning them ALL off or turning off camera motion detection. We started with both camera and opener notifications turned on. We received both a notification from the camera AND the opener any time the garage door was opened or closed. WHY??? Why on earth would the app feel the need to send a motion detection notification when it is obvious there is motion from the garage door? We've had to uninstall the app and reinstall it several times now. 2nd time installed, started receiving up to 16 notifications an hour from the motion sensor, apparently it can sense insects, because that's the only thing we can attribute it to. The 3rd time we reinstalled it (currently) the only notification we get is when the door closes. That's it. Again, no way to manually fix this. So the only way to know if we are being robbed is if the thieves are polite enough to shut the door afterwards, THEN it will notify us.Honestly if you are looking into buying this, just spend way less money on the same opener WITHOUT the camera, it's not worth it. Just buy a separate camera and install it in the back of the garage, on your own network, it's not that hard to do. Plus you'll have a bigger field of vision in the garage to see what is going on, and it will cost way less money. Don't worry, the notifications on the MYQ app are garbage anyway and they don't work right, there's nothing to gain by buying the opener with the camera, nothing at all.
