The school did not sell any frame cheaper than that price so I refused to purchase a frame for that ridiculous price tag. TELL ME WHY a frame is $130!!! WHAT WAS THE REASON?!USE: My diploma fit perfectly in this frame. It looks classy with the black border and white middle mat to let the viewers focus in my diploma. In addition, this frame was easy to assemble and provided the necessary instructions to carefully open the frame, input my diploma, and close the frame without any issues. It is secure, sturdy, and looks great in my house.SHIPPING: It came undamaged and in a box to protect from any potential shipping accidents.FINAL THOUGHTS: I am so happy I went on Amazon to find alternative diploma frames. It looks super classy and at an affordable price, it can't get any better. Overall, I would purchase again and I am looking to purchase photography frames from this company.

I needed this frame to display a legal certificate. It arrived very carefully packaged in a styrofoam case with no scratches or mars to the frame. I was concerned about the lack of attached mounting hardware at first, because I thought the frame was advertised as having an included sawtooth bracket for hanging. Instead of that type hardware, there were included brackets and picture wire. This turned out to be a better hardware option as the brackets attached (clip on style) to the sides of the backing of the frame and I did not have to hammer tiny nails into the frame itself and hope I attached a sawtooth bracket parallel to the edge of the frame (which is a bit of a feat if you have ever attempted it). The opening of the matting was just the right size to allow enough space for a quarter inch of the document on the outside of the matting. This gave me the ability to tape the edges firmly to the back of the mat and not worry about shifting of the certificate. It looks great! Plus, I was able to just pop the completed framed certificate into the styrofoam casing so my husband won't damage it taking it to his office to display. I have purchased many document frames, but this was the best quality for the price I have seen.

Product - exactly as described and with the pre-cut mat fits a 8.5" x 11" piece of art paper (not construction paper) very nicely. The frame hinges on the back are easy to open and close, which makes inserting paper quite simple. We bought this frame to showcase the art of our almost 5-year old; we thought the frames were nice enough to give as gifts to family members.Packaging - We ordered seven frames in total. Each frame is individually packaged in bubble wrap. And, there was sufficient Sealed Air packaging material to protect the top frame(s). However, there was no Sealed Air packaging material or crinkled paper on the bottom. Not Suprisingly, the glass of the frame packed on the bottom arrived broken. We contacted the company on Christmas Eve and received a response in less than 24 hours stating their apologies and that a replacement frame was being shipped free of charge. The frame arrived in tact on December 29th.I would order from this company again and, although disappointed that a frame was broken, was impressed and pleased by the quality of their no hassle customer service.

First off: Many reviewers are stating their frames were damaged the frame is easily smudged and scratched. I wiped off the majority of my smudges and luckily did not have any scratches. The frame is extremely basic. It's a simple, I believe, faux wood frame. The glass is real, not plexi. It's not very heavy. The Matte border looks shotty from the inside of the frame but looks beautiful and professional on the outside. It was pretty easy to place the degree in and close it up. I would NOT reccommend placing your Bachelors, Masters, PHD, or State Board Certifications in this. This is wonderful for lower tier certifications and I personally purhased it for my old Associates Degree(Which I am also very proud of, but don't need super nice frame for). Essentially- if you know about IKEA furniture and frames, you'd be buying a mid tier frame. It works fine.

I bought two of these frames for my professional licenses, and they look great. Perfect fit for any 8.5"x11" documents you want to display--would definitely purchase again!
