Let’s start by saying I’ve never made or baked bread before in my life. This bowl is fantastic! For my inaugural loaf, I made the chocolate cherry bread from the recipe book included with the bowl. The directions are easy to follow, and it is important that you do follow them. I did have to watch a YouTube video on how to knead the bread because my mind couldn’t quite follow the instructions provided in the recipe. If you’ve made bread before this simple step shouldn’t trip you up as it did me. Otherwise it was smooth sailing. I cleaned the bowl when indicated in the instructions and lined the lid with parchment paper when baking. I had no problems with anything sticking and the cleanup was a breeze. The artisan boule was my second attempt with the same fantastic results. Great addition to my KitchenAid accessories and now I have a fun new hobby!

I really like(d) the ease of this bowl. It latches on to the bottom of my very old Kitchenaid stand mixer. (We are talking the '80's when I worked for a department store call center and got 15% off of purchases. Score! When I opened up the box I was surprised at how sturdy the bowl is, without being too heavy. The results have been stellar! I plan to try a sourdough recipe tomorrow using the bowl. I will report back on the results. (I feel like I am going "rogue" with a recipe NOT included with the unit.) Even if I never make a different recipe than what is in the users manual, it will have been worth the money.

This product is amazing! My husband and I make bread on a regular basis and the dome makes the perfect loaves each time. My mom even wants to purchase one because of how good the bread tastes! She's convinced it's from this dome and I couldn't tell you either way because I haven't tried making bread without it. It's just so convenient to use and as a bonus it serves as a second bowl for my KitchenAid mixer. That is actually how I found this! I was looking for a second bowl because most of the recipes I use require two bowls. A second regular bowl would cost half the cost of this one... I know it's expensive but this one serves a dual purpose and it's been getting good use in our household. Highly recommend! I did look into cheaper knockoff versions but they don't withstand the same temperature in the oven so they're probably not as well made.

I have never been able to make bread until now. This bowl is fantastic! I made a perfect loaf on my first try! I used it to make sourdough and it’s excellent. Love the idea that it can go from mixing bowl to proofing bowl to baking cloche. Well worth the money. I just wish it came in other colors

The bread bowl was easy to use with the mixer. I followed the directions it came with; however, make sure you use oven mitts when removing the bowl prior to baking to make the loaf golden brown.The steam that escapes is 450 degrees F and will burn you. I should have thought that through, but as you can see from the photo, I didn’t. Please be careful.

I am a big fan of Kitchen aide products. I have a bunch of their items. My most recent purchase being this bread cloche. It’s been on my wants list for a minute!!It’s gorgeous and made well.The only issue I can see is that it is quite small. I made a regular sized oval loaf and when it was finished proofing and ready for the oven. My unbaked loaf was larger than the cloche. I had to rapidly throw my dutch oven in the oven and try and save my loaf. I think this would be good for mini loaves or small loaves that are being gifted. Next time i’m going to cut the recipe in half and see how it works.

Used this bowl to cook my first cranberry walnut bread and it came out beautifully!

My first load of gluten free sourdough turned out well, I will try to perfect my recipe and try again to get a loaf with more rise. The bowl is very nice, beautifully made and I love the speckled finish! Some people said their dough stuck and baked on…after I turned it on the lid to bake I took a minute to wipe the bowl off with a damp cloth prior to baking and the bread dough did not stick or bake on.

I love it! It comes with an easy recipe, just flour, yeast, water, and salt; no need to kneel that much, and one hour and a half later, voila I get just from my oven-baked bread and the lovely aroma that leaves in my house
