These are built well and look a little nicer than the classic "two hands coming together" look. The squared off sides are a nice style that adds a touch of class, and the colors are nice. The material reminds me of the old celluloid for sure, but I think they're an acetate or acrylic plastic.The springs and hinges look to be sturdy and well attached. The one caveat is that despite being a larger length, the square profile makes it hard to use on bushy manes. Thick curly hair is going to be a problem with these, but any other hair should be just fine.

These are a great purchase, I love all of the colors and the size is just right for my hair. (I don't have thick hair but if you do I wouldn't recommend them to hold all of your hair) They are sturdy but the plastic is a little thin which makes them easy to break when stepped on or squashed in the bottom of a bag. But overall, a great purchase!

I really like these clips but the colored ones (pink, white, blue) are very stiff and the edges of the teeth are a bit sharp. It’s not a smooth plastic. I find these colors don’t hold my hair as well as the brown ones, which aren’t as stiff and are smoother. I still use them though, and they really are nice looking

Really cute and can hold up all of my hair! I’ve had them for about two months and use them almost everyday. Only downside is the pink clip broke while I was putting it in my hair around the 4th time I used it.

good quality clips however are by no means large enough for curly/thicker hair. Barely can hold up a half up half down style. Cute are durable tho so if you have thinner hair a good purchase.

Initially loved these clips ordered a second set maybe a year after the first ones, the newer set I’ve gotten are very fragile and almost all have broken.
