Good product for the price
I like everything about it. The serrated side really helps out

Great for long vacations
Works as advertised. Check out YouTube for guidance, the instructions are minimal. One 3-gallon bucket watered 6 large plant for 2 weeks (1 minute twice a day of watering). Great product.

Hori Hori Knife
This was an excellent purchase, very useful in dividing perennials that have gone wild. I did have to sharpen the blade side when I got it, though.

Half way there.
This seems like a sturdy tool. But the fit and finish is lacking. Arrived unsharpened. The handle fit-up must have been done by the new guy. Sharp edges everywhere except on the edge of the blade. I expected more for the price. If you’re capable of finishing it yourself, then this is the tool for you. I’d ask for a discount though. Not worth full price.

Super strong
We have very hard ground here, filled with hard clay. It's awful to dig and thankfully we don't have to often. However, this tool is incredible. We've bent I-can't-tell-you-how-many spades over the years trying to dig the ground on those infrequent occasions we attempt it. Once we wanted to bury our kitty who died at 23 years old. It was like a Tarentino movie or Seinfeld episode. We went out there to do the sad deed and couldn't dig the ground with SHOVELS. My husband couldn't dig the ground, I couldn't do it. Ugh, it was awful. We had to go to the vet to have him cremated because we couldn't dig our lawn in the back.Anyways, we can dig with this spade. It is SO sharp and hard and hasn't bent. I went out there to test it in the same spot we tried to bury our kitty years ago and was able to. I don't think I'd be able to dig up a lot of land with it, but I could dig a small area enough to plant a bulb and/or remove a weed.

#1 garden tool!
I’ve always wanted a hori hori knife, and it’s been such a garden staple for me this summer.Weeding, planting, harvesting, for for months and it still looks like it’s brand new.And it’s strong too. I’ve had small garden shovels break when trying to break up the wonderful clay soil we have here, but no issues with the hori hori!I just used it today to slice some rows for a late summer/fall lettuce crop. It’s pricey at $60, but these knives run about that price from what I’ve seen, for the quality ones at least. I’ve been eying the one at gardeners supply for years and it’s prices the same. But this one comes with a leather case! And the handle is FSC certified beechwood, guaranteed to come from sustainably managed forests, which is pretty cool.I’d definitely recommend this knife!

Excellent Hori Hori
Very well made hori hori. Sturdy. Has worked incredibly well for all manner of garden applications. Has survived some very rugged use, and served with distinction. An excellent addition to our garden tools.

Such a great gardening tool!
Where has this been all my life. This makes weeding a breeze. It slices through the soil so easily and let's you get deep down into the root. There is a serrated side and a smooth side...both are very sharp! It also works as a soil scoop. Highly recommended!
