Lots of good info, but not the info I was looking for. May come in handy someday, if I ever rewire my own house(not), or put up walls. I thought it was going to be the mundane repairs....but, there isn't much of that in it.

Having been doing home repair (and beyond) I wish I would have had this book before the multiple home repair books I bought. As a long time subscriber of Fine Homebuilding I can tell you anything written by them will be excellent. Buy this book on home repair before any other!

Great book! Touches on just about everything for DIY repairs. This version is rather large almost like a newspaper, which to its defense is very beneficial. The oversized pages allow for more content per page which equates to easier capability when following along.

Book is excellent; thorough, good illustrations. A must for every homeowner.It was shipped via USPS - they lied about delivery and then lost it.
