Good bit of kit, would recommend.
i decided to take the plunge, for many years I had stuck with the old type of crimp tools, cutting wires carefully and feeding them through to the right length. no more, i thought so i bought one to give it a go, and it works well, thread your wires in slide the cablke up, crimp and cut the excess cables what could be simpler A+++++++

Absolutely fine!
It works fine with clear written instructions. I think for a cabling professional using it all day you might want to spend a bit more but for a jobbing IT professional or a hobbyist who just wants to make up the occasional appropriate length cable or replug some older ones - something like that - this is perfectly good. The included plugs could last someone like that years. It's so cheap you might even buy one just to practice. One thing to know, you do need to give it a good squeeze to get a good crimp. If you have a particularly weak grip strength you might struggle a bit.

Does not cut off completely!
First off definatley throw the included RJ45 connectors in the bin! 100% fail rate!1 - Cut full cable - Works2 - Strip outer sheath - Works3 - Crimping - Works (not with the included RJ45 connectors)4 - Trimming the ends - Works for the most part, if you hold the tool closed you can wiggle the end wires offBoot covers are ok a little hard but functional, overall not a bad tool used with decent quality RJ45 connectors!

Cheap quality
Ok where to start on this review. The plugs included seem to be fine as do the plastic boots. However, the actual equipment used for cutting of cat6 cable is absolute rubbish.I have tested on both solid core and stranded core cable. They do not cut cleanly through the cables just bending them and the worst part even when they do cut which is once every 20 times they leave a little piece of cable on the plugs so they do not cut precisely. And before those people that say I'm not using them correctly, you push the plug fully into the item and then cut it. It makes no difference.
