i had a west elm dining chair break from under me ... after just 2 years. went with a rolling chair this time since it is an office desk i sit at and i shift around a lot.. i also needed it to be small enough to fit in my little corner .. it's perfect. super supportive, comfy, durable, a breeze to put together. cleans easily, looks expensive, feels expensive-i highly recommend

I honestly didn’t expect to be “impressed” with this chair. I just wanted something simple that was good for my size (5’2”, 120 lbs), that wasn’t difficult to assemble, and that didn’t take up a lot of space. This one exceeded my expectations. It appears well made, was super simple to assemble, instructions are clear, the material is soft and easy to wipe off, and the cushion is SO comfortable. It doesn’t have arms, so it’s very streamlined and nothing bumps my desk when I push the chair up close to it. The wheels and casters are smooth as silk. I actually got the hubs to push me around the room in it while I pretended to drive it like a racecar. 😄 Nice chair. Highly recommend. 👍👍

This chair went together as described. Removed the red cap so the seat height adjustments would work - so I appreciate others who mentioned to remove it! The chair looks nice and appears to be sturdy. The seat is relatively firm; the cushioning collapses. There's still some cushioning, but not a lot, and I'm only 135 lbs and the chair is new. The chair back is supportive and will take getting used to, but that is hopefully a good thing, as I was sitting in a folding chair before. I only work one to two days a week and am in the chair about 3 hours on those days. I have low commercial carpet squares and it does not roll very well, so I will probably get some rubber chair casters. When seated, I am mostly on the computer, but do have to get up and down, so not having arms in the way, or to break, is also helpful. Overall, it should work well for my needs.

I needed to replace a couple chairs in my home office. Both had seen better days and were "shedding". I had bought one a a few months prior via Target and was happy with the chair. Tried to get another one, but had been discontented. Found this one and ordered it not really sure what to expect. I was far from disappointed, this is really well made. Plus, it was so easy to put together. The back and seat are one piece which makes assembly much easier and quicker. Doesn't get used much as was for my secondary desk which I don't use much. My mother would occasionally sit in the chair when she came into my office and found it comfortable given her bad back.

It’s hard to find a chair that you can sit strait up in, a lot of chairs have a slight recline to them. This on it very comfortable good padding. The fake leather is nice and doesn’t seem cheap. Besides my cat sharping its claws on it the chair has held up great.

Chair was easy to put together. The chair is comfortable and works well in small space. I use it with a leaning desk/bookshelf and really wanted a chair with a small footprint to take up little space as possible. Fake leather that doesn't feel like plastic and is comfortable to site on for hours at a time while working. I bought chair in brown. I've been using for over a week and happy with it so far.

Good quality, and great for the price! I got brown with chrome base for $70 (unavailable right now). I'm an adult 5'6" 105 lbs and this chair is comfy day after day for at least 4 hours straight. I haven't tried it for longer. I need lumber support and this chair works. It might matter that I sit up straight and have full contact along the entire seat and all the way up the back. The seat is comfy not cushy. Surprising it's comfortable for long hours. The wheels work great on my hardwood floor. Seat up&down works perfectly. When assembling, remove red cap from the hydraulic cylinder. Instruction sheet shows this. (If you didn't, several reviews say how to fix.) Upholstery is thick, slightly pebbled, and not shiny. Stitching is all perfect. Only issue: chrome base came with scratches, scuffing, and one small gouge. Not obvious from normal viewing distance, but I would have requested replacement if brown had still been available.

Chair was easy to assemble except the instructions were just illustrations and not super clear. I made the mistake of assembling the chair without taking off the red cap off the hydraulic stem. The instructions do show the stem and a garbage can. It was confusing because I didn't understand that was a garbage can and thought it looked like some extra piece I was missing, like a textured cap. So I put it together and then the hydraulic lever went up and got stuck. Contacted customer support number on the instructions. Together we decided to remove the allen wrench bolts connecting the stem to the base of the seat. When I did this I could see the red cap smashed and impeding movement. Once I took it off, all was well. Reassembled and chair works fine.
