DonJoyMaxTrax Ankle Walker Brace/Walking Boot

I have tendonitis and occasionally need to wear a boot like this. I've tried several and most of them were quite cheap. This boot is substantial with metal fittings and secure velcro. It really works well for me. It's light and sturdy. I commute to work in it; taking public transit and walking from transit to the office. It can take some abuse and the fit is great.

I actually purchased 2 of these boots just incase one broke later later on down the line. Like in 3 months... But nope this already started to break... I work on my feet all my shift and a lot of walking is involved but I didn't expect this boot to break down so quickly... I paid A LOT for the 1st boot, and then the 2nd boot was on discount... I'm kinda upset this breakdown happened so quickly 😒😤

This helped a lot with a deep bone bruise I had on my foot. It enabled me to walk without too much pain.

I purchased a medium based on the size chart provided- female size 7.5 shoe, but it is wayyyy too big (long). Over 1.5” left at the top of the foot. (Note: I’ve had to wear a boot on and off for over 10 years, so I know how they should fit. I typically have worn a small in the past, but ordered by the chart in case the product sizing has changed since the last time I purchased one.)

The upright bar on the right side of boot rubs the leg and is very uncomfortable. The support was not as good as I wanted. The curvature not as comfortable as other boots. Due to my mild dissatisfaction, I purchased another boot that I like much better. Not bad just not as good as another product on Amazon.

Light weight

The top strap was not attached to the boot; it simply fastened around the outside of the boot. Therefore, it did not provide me with enough support. The liner itself was quite thin and uncomfortable. I sent it back.
