Robit Robot Vacuum, 2500Pa Power Suction, 6.9cm Super-Thin, Ultra Quite, Self-Charge Robotic Vacuum for Pet Hairs, Hard Floor to Medium-Pile Carpets, R3000

This is my second robot vacuum and this one has a lot of improvements over my last one which I'll cover through my review. Firstly robot vacuums are the future of keeping your house clean and if you're reading this review then you're thinking about getting one... you should do it. Once this arrived I opened it up and was impressed with the quality and finish straight away. This vacuum has a lovely glass finish to the top which instantly makes it look like it's going to be quality. I placed the charging stand on the floor and popped the vacuum onto it to give it it's first charge and whilst doing so I had a little look around it.  Its nice to see the dust collector on this vacuum is larger than my last one and its also in the back. Not a huge thing but my last one was in the top and this spoilt the lines a bit.  There are several levels of filtration built into such a small vacuum which is great and you also get a spare. The vacuum is really easy to use and the automatic modes make everytiing so easy. Just pop the vacuum down, turn it on and hit go on the remote control and away it goes. There are several modes and settings but I like Automatic which is exactly as it says. It just goes off and does it's thing. This mode operates differently from my last vacuum though.  This vacuum doesn't just go off randomly, it had a lot more structure to its path which is great. The other modes that are available are also really good as you can choose to just concentrate on one area, just go around the edge or use Max Power You can control its movement from the remote too which is great for dealing with somewhere specific (or chasing the kids) or you can move the vacuum to a certain place before using the spot clean mode to concentrate just on that one place. It handles my living room rug as though it’s not there and easily glides from one to the other. Now my favourite things which my other vacuum didn’t have is the rotating brush in the middle (like a regular vacuum). This means that its picking up some of the things, such as hair than my other vacuum was leaving behind. I’m really, really impressed by this vacuum and how well it works.

I have 2 dogs and use this daily. It's basically the hardest working family member of my house at this point lol! Purchased while on sale and so glad I did. Runs between carpet to tile to wood floors with absolutely no issues. Suction power is amazing. Cleaning the bin is super easy. Beeps at you when it gets stuck (only happens if I forget to pick up a certain bathroom rug that likes to get sucked up and stuck into any vacuum.) Isn't loud so it doesn't bother us while we're eating/watching tv/talking/etc. Has a low profile so it gets underneath my dressers/beds/tables easily. I've had for 1 year now, have used daily, and it still works amazing. Highly recommend purchasing!

I find this unit to be very good at cleaning my very short pile carpets. I am a bit disappointed to find the run time is only 45 minutes possibly because the battery does not have its full capacity. It only takes 3 hours to recharge rather than the 5 to 6 hours specified in the description.I have found it best to restrict it to one room at a time and to let it run in Auto mode until fully discharged, during this time it does a thorough job of cleaning 200 square foot room by covering square inch at least once and many areas several times. If I use the 'Single Room' setting it automatically stops after 30 minutes but has not always cleaned the whole area. Was primarily bought because the noise of a normal vacuum is very distressing to 96 year old, dementia suffering Mother in Law. The low noise of the Robit causes no destress, actually she seems to enjoy watching it doing its thing. Emptying the bin and brushing the filter is quick and easy but cleaning the roller brush is a bit more difficult when it has long hair wrapped around it, we have a dog and my Wife has long hair. I clean it after every use as the bin is usually nearly full. After each run it usually returns to its charging station after I let it out of the room it has just cleaned although I sometimes help it by using the arrow buttons on the remote to steer it. I have the dock in the Lounge/Dining Room. The cleaning schedule is to carry it on alternate days to the larger bedroom + dressing room or the smaller bedroom + passage way at about 8am and to press the Auto Button, at the end of that cycle the bin is emptied and it is allowed to return to the dock to recharge. At 2pm it automatically starts with the timer to clean the Lounge/Dining Room. In the evening after the clearing up in the kitchen it is shut in there for its third run of the day, after which the roller brush is cleaned together with the bin being emptied. Overall we are very happy to have clean floors throughout with little effort and most importantly little noise. Just a pity the runtime is not a little longer so as to enable the whole house to be cleaned with two runs per day.

I did a bit of research on these vacuum pals before I bought this and am happy with my purchase.Deffo don't need to spend hundreds of pounds on a robo-vacuum.This is easy to set up for first time use. The instructions are clear and the remote control is good. I especially like the 'edges' function. It picks up lots and is easy to empty the bin. What is extra fab is the cleaning tool that comes with it, and how easy it is to remove the beater bar to cut out long hair. It doesn't fall down stairs when it reaches the edge.I love that when he's low on juice he makes his way home. My pet Robby was the best spend of £119 ever!
