Clever Fox Budget Planner – Coiled Finance Book, Monthly Financial Journal, Budgeting Organizer & Expense Tracker Notebook, 8.5x9.5″ (Mystic Blue)

I love love love my new purple budget planner. It’s a perfect fit for any desk or shelf. The quality hard cover of the book is good for even on the go. It came with stickers that help to mark special dates whether it’s to pay a certain bill or maybe something to help encourage you to keep up the good work. It’s easy to flip pages with a spiral binding to turn pages. It had plenty of room to make notes or highlight as needed. Overall I am very happy with this budget planner and it’s super cute.

I bought this to use for tracking our budget and expenses and there's some pros/cons to the book.Pros:Coil binding lays flat on the table, making it easy to write. I like the financial goals section in each month, and also the calendar to jot down when we receive our paychecks. The page for tracking monthly bills on the right side is good, but I found myself running out of room. I ended up making an Excel spreadsheet to print every month of my monthly bills roughly in the same format and that works well. Paper is a nice quality too - gel ink doesn't soak throughCons:Coil binding is kinda chunky if you need to write on the left side of the page. Space to write monthly bills is a little tight but I overcame that with making a spreadsheet. Calendar sections of the monthly overview are way too small to write much of anything in.UPDATE: Jan 2023I ended up ordering one for another year of budget tracking and once I got into the routine of using this planner, it is a worthwhile investment. I've updated my star rating to 5. Using this tool for tracking my finances helped tremendously and I did not miss any payments last year.

This is my second year buying this exact one. I love the size and organization. Really helps me plan for the month and year.

I purchased this to help my partner and I work on combining our finances, create a shared budget, and work on savings/debt goals. It's still our first month using this jornal but we both really like it so far! It's helped us keep track of our spending habbits and think more about how we're spending our money. And unlike when we were using apps like mint we can have all our finances together in one place where we can both access and update readily.I looked at the various options for the journal and accessories and chose this one because it came with everything. At first $30 seemed like a lot but it's high quality and already paid for itself in a way. The pages are good quality paper. I've hade no issues with ink from my felt tip pens bleeding through. The stickers are cute but unnecessary. It's pleasing to use a sticker now and then but there's not enough to mark every bill or payday but I think doing that would get cluttered anyway. I don't know yet if we will use the envelopes but they are a nice option and also good quality.We're still fine tuning our budget categories and how to track some things but this has been a huge help. It has also alleviated a lot of stress and bickering over how much we think we're spending on things vs how much were actually spending. Also the book has already paid for itself in the sense that I know I will need to write my purchases down and am thinking more about where it fits into the budget which leads to fewer impulsive purchases.

I have an online budget, but this is a great addition or supplement for budgeting. I love the goal setting, tracker and end of the month overview, and I really enjoy using the information from that month to help me set goals for the next month. The only reasons I gave it a four out of five is because I had to buy separate stick on tabs to section off the planner, and there are no place holders (bookmark or ribbon attachments). That being said, I would definitely recommend and buy this planner again.

I buy one of this every year! Love the colors. Has helped me stay on track with my finances.

Love this budget planner/organizer!! The blue cover is really pretty and the stickers are fun!

I love their planners. I ran into a snag with this one, but it was no fault of the company. I contacted them and they were fabulous to work with, I have toyed with cheaper planners, but never satisfied with the set ups. I love these and with the great customer service I doubt I will ever buy another brand.
