The tea has a nice taste. When I opened the bag for the first time I was unsure what to expect as this is my first experience with Guayusa. The tea had a fresh scent, the cut was uniform and just the right size for brewing tea. I normally drink my tea without any additives so that is the way I've used this and found it has a smooth flavor not too unlike green tea as others have said. It is noted on the package this tea contains nearly as much caffeine as coffee but I've been able to drink it and still get to sleep on the days I decided to take an afternoon nap, without struggling like I would with coffee. I sometimes use honey with herbal tea so I thought to try it with this and found it enjoyable but not necessary because the taste is quite pleasant without. I like it enough to buy again.

This is just my favorite tea now, hands down. The blend is perfect and matches what I have made on my own. Very high quality. Guayusa is brilliant for easing you into alertness without the jarring effect of coffee. The mint is strong but not overpowering, and complements the earthiness of the guayusa well. I keep coming back again and again. No need to blend my own anymore! (Used to blend mint and yerba until I found this)

Exactly what I ordered. Love it. Delicious Guayusa! Thank you for the prompt delivery.I was worried at first with the size I had ordered. They come in 4 & 8 ounce bags. I ordered 8. An 8 had been written in Sharpie over the 4 on my bag...it concerned me but I weighed it before jumping to conclusions. It weighed in at 8.3 oz! So no concerns there. Just a misprint on the packaging.Really great product. I'm interested in trying some of their other herbal concoctions, seem pretty Wild <3

Good tea, but not well priced

I got about 3.5 hours of sleep last night. A computer problem woke me up early. I had a cup of this with come Chi Rooibos tea they sent as a sample. The Chi Rooibos is absolutely delicious. The Guayusa doesn't affect the flavor in a negative way, no affect really.I felt a bit better and decided to have another cup, this time with some green Jasmine tea. Delicious! And I stopped feeling sleepy and was just a bit tired. Been up all day and its almost 2 am. I was able to take a 15-20 minute power nap around 4:30 pm.I'm a believer!! I can't do coffee caffeine. Tea caffeine doesn't bother me. I will buy it again and again.

I love this stuff. Very fresh and fragrant, something different than you might be used to if you're a tea or coffee drinker while still providing that warmth and caffeine you need. Maybe even a little sweet.Tastes may vary, but this is one drink that I can leave steeping for a long time and it doesn't get too bitter for my preferences. Therefore it's a nice drink for me to make quickly and let steep in my tumbler while I'm driving, or something I can make on a backpacking trip and not worry about having to bring a bunch of extra stuff for making a perfectly brewed pot. It's still good!

Guayusa is my very favorite tea. I used to drink Stash brand before they discontinued it. (Theirs was the best.) So I switched to Runa which is also pretty good. But I decided to try Wild Guayusa because it was a bit cheaper than Runa. I don't care for it so much. Perhaps because it's wild but it has a bit of a bitter taste which lingers. So when I've finished this order, it's back to Runa for me.

This tea was great! I used it in my French press and cooled it for make a nice iced tea. I drink it in lieu of coffee and I felt no withdrawals from caffeine. It actually converted me to a tea drinker--and I'm a med student who NEEDS caffeine. My only complaint is that there were no recipes/instructions on what ratio of tea to use so I had to find it myself online. I'm buying again.
