Arrived broken. Has never ticked.
I gave this as a present and have only just been told it was broken from the start - recipient was too polite to tell me but now it's been too long to return.

Stay away! Inconsistent quality and packaging. Two watches, both dead on arrival.
Two watches, with two totally different packaging, two different face/dial colors and neither one of them work!Ordered first watch, which arrived in a large, very nice, plush feeling box. The dial and strap matched listing's photos perfectly, but I pulled the battery tab and nothing. Played with adjuster a bit and still nothing. Either a dud or just a dead battery. So, I ordered a replacement.Replacement arrives in much smaller, and cheaper feeling box. The face and dial are much darker than the listing photos on Amazon. However, this time, there is no battery tab to pull and the watch still doesn't work. The company did not offer a way to do another replacement, so I'm sending both back and never ordering from this brand/company/seller again.

Nice looking watch, but has a few glaring flaws.
For the most part, I like this watch. It has a style and simplicity that I enjoy and only the few simple functions that I care about. Those functions being the time and the date. How many people really use the chronograph functions on their watches anyway? The good: The style is simple and I feel it is appropriate for many types of dress. It's not too Rolex and not too Timex. The 12-hour numbers are large enough to read easily and the contrast of the black dials on the silvery background make it easy to tell the time at a quick glance. The bad: The silvery background is a great deal more shimmery than the photo here leads you to believe. The 24-hour numbers are nearly impossible to read without squinting or tilting your arm around to get better light on it. In a dim-lit room, forget about it, you can barely even tell these numbers exist. At the same time, I didn't buy this because of those numbers. I am adept enough with mental conversions to 24-hour time. The adjustment knob on the side actually protrudes below the bottom surface of the watch, which means it comes in contact with your arm while wearing it. It's not a lot, and it is not uncomfortable to wear, but I only had to wear the watch for an hour or so before I noticed it. It's a minor nuisance.I think i'll hang onto this. In a world where it's not unusual for some people to spend hundreds or thousands on a watch, $50 is about where I would draw the line on value for my money.
