運悪く不良品を引きました、調整しても1日に20～40分も遅れるという感じ(最終的にはテンプが力を失いストップ)・・・販売店に問い合わせると、日本にヘルムレのサービスステーションがないのでドイツのヘルムレで調整するので返送してほしいと。指定が船便なのですが、往復で８カ月を要しました・・・再入国時はまたしても関税４１００円を取られ行きの送料は自分持ちです。時計自体は悪くありません、夜間鳴り止め(22：00～6：45)機能が付いていい感じです。ハンマーによるチャイムは綺麗ですが昔のものと比べると音質、音量共にワンランク落ちます。出品者がドイツだと必ず関税はかかるので注意。

Lovely looking mantel clock, 10" tall, 8.5" wide and 6" deep. Quiet but reassuring tick and chimes on the quarter hour with a good deep hour strike. Preset to Westminster chimes, they sound really good with hammer onto brass rods, nothing tinny or electronic here. Solid hardwood bracket case in a walnut finish, the back cover unclips and lifts easily out for you to remove transit packing, adjust if necessary, and to access the lever that silences the chimes should you wish to.The glass front hinges open to expose the nicely engraved brass plate carrying the silvered chapter ring and access three winding holes - centre one for the clock mechanism and the other two for chimes and hour strike. 4-5 turns of the key gives an 8-day power reserve. We had a panic when unpacking the clock as we couldn't find the key at first, but looked again and found it pressed into the foam packing material - not obvious at all, but at least you know where to look now !Comes double boxed for transit with an instruction sheet in German, English and French, and a certificate from Hermle detailing the model number and a 24 month guarantee.This is a quality clock, keeps good time, and I am absolutely delighted with it.

I am not happy with the colour it is very dark, I ordered what I thought was teak but it arrived a very dark colour all most black. the chimes are good but not to pleased with colour of the wood

A beautiful clock and piece of furniture. However the chiming mechanism has stopped, nine months into a 24 month warranty.Despite many web site searches and a direct email to the manufacturer in Germany, I am still awaiting any contact to inform me how to engage a repair under the warranty.

Nicely made clock which so far keeps excellent time. My only gripe is the Chimes. Westminster? I have two Westminster clocks and this one sounds nothing like them! Pleasant enough though and not too loud.
